no. its more the fact they'd be radically changing established characters. but i guess people dont want to keep the integrity of characters when it suits their agenda. so garrus is bi now completely out of the blue? it completely goes against the mentor type relationship/friendship that garrus and male shepard have established over two full games.android654 wrote...
You know, all of these people protesting the "all bi" option for fear that they'll be drowned by attention leads me to think it's not something they deal with in their daily lives. People flirt, especially when there's nothing to do but drink, kill, and f*ck. It's quite logical that people would welcome a different way to kill time in-between fights.
So true, a student has never admired a teacher in a romantic or sexual sense. It's practically unheard of. Imagine having a character like Garrus who abandoned his whole life to follow this man across the galaxy, became heralded as a hero, and tried to accomplish the same on his own only to find himself in the company of the same teacher, giving him purpose once again. Nope, nothing romanticized about their meeting ever, you win.
Isn't that the fun of an rpg? In one playthrough, they'll be friends, in another they'll be involved, or friends that had one sexual encounter. You can still be friends with him, while someone else's shepard rubs his 5 o'clock shadow against his exoskeleton.
Oh, dear. Such steamy imagery. Lets keep the provacative language to a minimum here.
