What is wrong about the tender embrace of two naked men?

I don't think they'd be naked, people seem sewed to their clothes/armor/fetish wear in recent bioware games.

Eh. I'll take the DA2 scenes over the DAO ones anyday.

Granted I'd preferr ME's scenes over both but...

We must lobby for a post-coital scene with Shepard and [insert male squadmate] in shades and smoking cigarettes in bed.

I liked the game better when we had side boob. Id like a little butt and thy action. What ever happened with taking bold risks? One thing I've always respected about the gay community is that is that it has bold people who are willing to take the hits for what they believe. I respect that. Bioware is trying to cater to those old conservatives.

Can there be a half empty bottle of whiskey on the nightstand?

I like those ME1 scenes as well. It revealed more than most games would but it was done tastefully. They were love scenes.

I don't think it's unfair to ask for something similar in an M rated game, which ME3 will likely be.

I strongly disagree with side boob in the m/m romance and seriously hope that there will be none (as far as I care the f/f one can have twice as much of it)

I prefer tasteful nudity like in ME1 to both the panty sex of DA:O and the no nudity at all approach of ME2. However with the new dogma of unite looks this means a lot of extra work since Bioware would need to create nude models for every LI and both Shepards, even if they are only as anatomically correct as Barbie and Ken, and then carefully craft the scene so that you do not see to much.
And then even if the scene is tame enough for the US make another one for Australia since they have no higher rating than teen for games.

But since the nature of the culminating scene of a romance arc has only little to do with s/s romances and thanks to MGD and the first news of ME3 moderator activity has increased in this parts I think that we should try to get back on topic.

If there were side boob in a m/m romance scene, I'd be a bit worried. >.>

I'm so sick and tired of the argument that just because Manshep is a manly, alpha male, tough guy badass, he can't like other men. Not only is just distorted and clueless, but why can't I shake of that suspicion I get whenever I hear that argument, a light goes off him my head telling me, as a bi guy, that liking other men makes me "soft"? I hate PC as much as the next guy, but that's just a nerve for me, and most likely, for other guys. So for future reference, don't say that Shep can't like other men just because he's a badass. Men are men no matter what they fancy.

/end rant

Oh, and uhhh, for the conversation above me, the romance scenes should be like DA2's(minus clothes) or ME's. Who actually has sex with their clothes on before a life or death battle?

Don't answer me that....

Haha, quite. Posted Image

I'd much rather have ME1's tasteful romance scenes back than a repeat of ME2 and DA2's 'we have sex with clothes on' thing. That said, I'd rather see fully clothed romance scenes than have anything remotely similar to DAO's 'we have sex with uniform granny'panties on' scenes. They were supposed to be all tender and whatever, but I just ended up cringing and laughing alternately.

Umm..so, scans from PC Gamer are out, and apparently, there will be no new love interests. I seriously doubt that they'll suddenly make some of the past LIs bi, so I'm thinking they're going to conclude the trilogy without same sex romances and if questioned about it, they'll probably just say they'll include in further games.

I mean, I could always be wrong, but I really feel like nothing is pointing to it.

Although that doesn't mean we wouldn't be able to initiate romances with the crew members. Only, you know, no new ones.

True but the cries of 'RETCON!'

Oh good grief the cries of retcons. :pinched:

Pish-posh.
And here I thought consistency was the least of Bioware's concerns.

Do you guys... do you really think they'll make Kaidan retroactively bisexual? I want to hope for it. I really do. But it just seems so unlikely...

I hate to bring it up almost because I know what the ensuing posts will sound like but tough cookies!

Anders.

Relevant because he wasn't a retcon.  Neither would a bisexual Kaidan be so.  Now to see if the ME team is brave enough.

Really really doubt it. As much as I'd love for ManShep to get his hands on some Kaidan, if making one of the romances bisexual before was too much work then I don't see them writing a new Kaidan romance just for M/M.

That gif is exactly how I feel right now :(

It sucks....though I'm betting Ashley and Kaidan (probably Liara too) can be romanced anew in ME3. So, while no new LIs, there could be new or 'different' romances with previous LIs.

Aand... this thread is meaningless. Thank god for that. Literally.
