Kaidan seems to be the obvious choice for m/m romance.

What if the choice was between Thane and Jacob?
Which one would you guys prefer for a possible bisexual transformation?

Kaidan seems the most "obvious" me, too, but that's only because he was SUPPOSED to be bisexual. *sigh*

If it came down between Thane or Jacob as a bisexual romance... I think I would slightly prefer Jacob. I love Thane and his romance, but he's a dying man. I don't want my gayShep to find love only to lose it a few days later.

Jacob is also fairly reserved. He doesn't really show an interest in femShep until she shows an interest in him. I don't think it woul dbe too far-fetched if Jacob's feelings for maleShep didn't appear unless maleShep initiated it.

Of course, Bioware would have to make it pretty obvious when the player is selecting a "flirt" option. A lot fo people complained that they "tripped and fell" into a romance with Jacob when they didn't want to. If this issue was avoided, then yes, I'm sure that Jacob would make an excellent same-sex option!

And it wouldn't have to be a retcon. FemShep can't flirt with Garrus in ME1, and her sudden interest in him is pretty much glossed over in ME2. MaleShep's "sudden" interest in Jacob (or any male character) could very easily follow suit.

I would actually prefer Thane, but I might be biased because of the heterosexuality Jacob tried to force onto my FemShep by placing himself in the room where the resonance makes everything sound somewhat lewd.

Maybe a little bit biased.

This isn't technically true, the highest rating we have in Australia is MA15+, which is what ME and ME2 were rated. Most games that are R18+ in other countries (GTAIV, for example) are somehow shoehorned into the 15+ rating here with no editing. That being said, we may have a new 18+ rating before ME3's release.

Are the PC Gamer scans that show no new romances confirmed?

You know, when Casey Hudson told us they wanted to make the ME franchse more appealing to a wider audience, the first thing I thought when I heard 'no more romances in ME3' was 'wait, the bros already play video games in their frat houses, don't they?'

That being said, would not be at all surprised to discover that Joker is gay, which would make EDI a...hm.

You've got one of the most diverse, beautiful, unique, realistic, and factual(I mean REALLY factual, there's ALOT of science behind the tech and biology in the game) sci-fi settings ever known; yet for some reason, Bioware decided that there aren't any bi/gay men anywhere.

I've seen the scans, they are real but as Priestly said unless they say it came from a dev mouth that is just their personal conclusion.  I could see them easily missing out on any romances talks and assuming there are no new ones or them not being implemented.  Or maybe there are no new romances, time will tell.
