This is the best news! I'd like to think that we played a role in helping them come to this decision. In any case, I'm extremely pleased that my Sentinel will finally be able to express himself true to his character, the way my Adept, Vanguard, Infiltrator, Soldier and Engineer are able to now. Thank you Casey Hudson, and thank you BioWare.<3

yeah, a bit concerned they'll railroad my garrus bromance, but hopefully they're tasteful about it and the bromance is default unless you pick very specific sequence of dialogue options to make it a romance.

but ill give them the benefit of the doubt and assume its all tastefully done.

Anders hit on you. Once. You can turn him down for some very minor rivalry points, which you'll probably recuperate almost immedietly. The guys who **** and whine about Anders don't know how to act in real life, and I wouln't be surprised if they end up in a situation like that in real life because they don't want to politely turn somebody down. They're usually just crybabys who don't think what they say through or analyze it.

It didn't

Some people apparently thought hitting one of the options with the little heart on it somehow wouldn't lead to a romance. That is the ONLY way to initiate a romance.

pretty sweet. nice when these games become a little bit more real and affect all the options you can do.

what would be nice is to have a character that comes to love you no matter what you do and they develop good or evil based on how you treat others. and if you choose to be a gay or bi character, the option is there to be with them or just stay good freinds.

While I think it's cool that Bioware is giving more options. I just hope they don't go the route of DA2 and turn everyone BI. I felt that cheapend it somewhat.

Well if Garrus was busy with calibrations in ME2, I think he'll be busy calibrating something else in ME3 instead

I sincerely doubt we'll see an all-bi squad in ME3. Honestly, we don't know how this will be implemented, but just the fact that this is being addressed is a victory for all of us. I am looking forward to ME3 a lot more now, as a result of this news. And I was already looking forward to it for other reasons.

That's what I hope for. If I dare say. Having certain characters turn BI would just seem out-of-character and forced.

I can't see myself doing S/S romances in my playthroughs, but it's nice to see people who want them to have them as an option.
