Well I don't think what is between your legs has any meaning when dealing with an entirely different species that isn't even composed of amino acids. Like, you only need to have even a half-decent knowledge of biology to know what a vast difference that makes. I mean, imagine if 500 million Roswell-looking aliens came to this planet to settle down peacefully. Do you think we can even differentiate their gender by looking at them, let alone it be a significant factor in the relationship, when gender differences are pointless when dealing with a species that is completely different from yours? Granted, it does mean something when in the same family. For example, the "liger", offspring of a lion and a tiger. However, a turian and a human would barely even be in the same domain, which is by far, the broadest classification.
