True. Though, I'm curious to see what will be the charges exactly, if it includes Shepard's colaboration with Cerberus or anything we forgot.

Among other things, yes, it will most likely include that. Casey Hudson hinted in one of his recent interviews that the trial will cover more than just the Arrival incident, which is a great thing.

Ok Bioware if you insist on going through with SS romances in ME more power to you but please for the love of all that is good do it well. Example of SS done well DA:O; 2 characters who's sexuality was part of their character/history. Example of SS done poorly DA2; all romances made bi because why the hell not.

As people our sexuality is part of who we are, some more than others, so should it be for characters be they in film, TV, books, or videogames. Don't make a character, or take an established character, and just tack ****** or bi on them; make it part of who they are. This may be difficult if you want to open up existing characters but if you can't do it well don't do it.

Everytime I hear someone saying sexuality should be part of one's background/history I sigh.

So should someone's heterosexuality make sense with their background/history as well? Do straight people have a special sort of background/history that gay/bisexual people don't have?

I understand not wanting established characters. But everyone's sexuality doesn't determine how they act or what their history was. And I also understand not wanting everyone bisexual. 9 characters being bi (plus the 2 new LIs) would be straining my disbelief. (but of course them all being straight kind of strained my belief already).

As long as I can't accidentally provoke a relationship with a male character, I'm cool. I hated when I got stuck with Liara just because I cared about her feelings.

I agree, not all characters should be bi... Only a couple of them
Maybe 2 bi fems and 2 bi males

I wouldn't be surprised if Jack and Tali become s/s 'mancable. I could see Miranda too, but I think they'd unnecessarily make it a bigger stretch than it really is and scrap it.

how is it ruined? as longas its not like liara in ME1 where its SUPER easy to accidently lcok yourself in a romance with her (ive done that multiple times, very frustrating rofl) then its not really an issue.

i doubt they're gonna have kaidan show up on shepards bed in his boxers with a flower in his teeth because you said "hey nice to have you back on the team kaidan"

im pretty much positive that you'll have to actively persue all the s/s relationships through specific dialogue choices. if you dont select them i doubt you'll even notice it

I think everybody feels like that about everybody.

Unfortunately, that is not how the game works, and certainly not how the world works.


Although Bioware took lessons and implemented them in Dragon Age pretty well. Not perfectly, but well enough that almost anybody who ended up where they didn't want to be are either not thinking it through like they should, skipping through the dialogue, or oblivious, and personally, I think the first two are entirely the person's fault.

I did that too. Always when I was playing a renegade. I think the douchey no response for some reason activates the romance.  

Pffft. That would be hilarious.

well thats why you dont romance thane.
i'm probably only going to romance miranda, ashley or liara on my male shepards. but its pretty awesome people can roleplay their shepard to a better degree, sexual preference included.

though i might actually do a gay romance just to see the dialogue

Is that not a bit immature?  That your imagination caused such a reaction?  Also there's no way in hell that Bioware would suddenly make Thane Bi or gay and we all know it.  Nobody is forcing you to use the option, its no different than choosing to romance anyone, you can say no.

though im curious, do you think vega will be a s/s romance option? i mean it seems like a smart choice as they could write him with that in mind, however i do remember them saying they didnt plan on having any new romance options.
