I'm still playing the "since Garrus can possibly die in ME2 he cannot be a ME3 SS romance" card. Why waste resources of turning a possibly dead character bisexual (or possibly pansexual depending on who you ask) when Kaidan and Ashley were kept alive for a reason?
C'mon, you know its true!
Well, BioWare collects telemetry data on player activities, so they know roughly what percentage of players have Dead Garrus, and which other characters are often deceased. I actually think many players have at least one playthrough with Alive Garrus, what with that being a prerequisite for the No One Left Behind achievement.
"at least one playthrough with Alive Garrus?" I have played 4 plus times and I have Alive Everyone, every time. I don't understand you people who actually kill off characters intentionally or are just too lazy to do a loyalty quest. It just... why. Hell I hate Zaeed but I still didn't send him off to get killed. Just weird lol
I still say: KAIDAN!!! GIVE ME KAIDAN. I think they are giving Kaidan. , but I will not get my hopes up. Its just the very idea that Shepard will be getting a MAN. Ohhhh yeah. About damn time.
I do it for role-playing purposes, all my Shepards are very different. Naturally my two Paragons, Vanguard and Adept, keep everyone alive, and my most Renegade, my Soldier, got everyone except Morinth and Kasumi killed. The other three have varying casualties based on their character. My Engineer is a bit obtuse, so she didn't make the best choices in the Suicide Mission, while my Sentinel and Infiltrator are currently in replay. My Infiltrator will make sure all the humans survive, he's pro-Cerberus, and my Sentinel will make sure everyone with biotic ability survives, at least, as well as Mordin. I just like to see different outcomes, like what would ME3 be if so-and-so were missing, what would it be like if almost no one was alive, etc. It's all about variety for me.
