Half through now. First impression:

Story: very good so far.
Atmosphere: very good

Just wait 'till you get to ending, you'll double those feelings

The one thing that makes this dlc bad... is the hammerhead. No amor whatsoever.

Very good, probably the best piece of DLC released for ME2 so far. Now if the hammerhead wasn't made out of paper (especially on Insanity) and if you could, you know, actually SAVE the game, while driving it, I would be a lot happier.

How bad is the Hammerhead combat...how much of it is there? Is it so frustrating that it ruins the DLC?

I'm probably 1/2 way through myself, i'm really enjoying it.

So far, Its the best dlc, with Kasumi's coming in 2nd (for now).
The Hammerhead still needs some tweaking though.Image IPB

There's very little hammerhead combat and I had no problems with it. Then again I was playing on casual

Good DLC, but they need to give the Hammerhead more oomph. Boss fights are fun though.

@jlb524: Not so frustrating, in a lot of situation you can position yourself to be able to shoot the turrets with small movement but keeping yourself behind cover or out of sight. What IS frustrating is to be unable to save during the Hammerhead parts. I simply cannot understand why.

Other thing that would make it better if we could get off the vehicle like with the Mako.

Overall, the story - despite it is not so original - is good, the scenery is wonderful, the base station missions are ok. The fights are surprisingly easier on Instanity than it was in Kasumi DLC.

The DLC worths the money, very good side mission set and it was refreshing to play without knowing every corner. I recommend it.

I agree, i miss being able to get in and out of the vehicle at will, i hope they can do something

about that in future dlc, if not than put it back in ME 3.

. And the not being able to save during the Hammerhead parts is kind of silly. I don't know why they did that.

But compared to everything else in the dlc ,those issues are small potaoes.

Amazing.

It blew away anything I had expected. Loved the atmosphere, and the finale was great.

Seriously, totally worth it. Great job Bioware team.

A wee bit short at about hour & a half & combat in the Hammerhead leaves a lot to be desired but the story & atmosphere were very well done.

While not in the same league as point lookout or broken steel it's still one of the better DLC's to have been released & worth the asking price thumbs up^_^

If this is just a ME2 DLC, I can't imagine what ME3 will be like...

It's impossible to run away from the gunfire of the turrets (they seem to hit regardless of where the graphics show on the screen), so you'll need to find some cover and bounce up and down while shooting at one of them.

Kind of like the Mako, except you don't have to aim.

Good DLC, good story - the best BioWare DLC since BDtS. Lasted about two hours.

Liked the exploring part with the Hammerhead, even though it's still a paper plane and fragile. A little bit of suspense added to the typical ME2 experience was a nice twist, the finale was surprisingly emotional. Not that easy to comment without spoilers, had just two gripes with Overlord. For once, the two opportunities for the interrupts were a bit short, just a split second to react isn't enough. Also the music, while not bad at all, doesn't fit compared to the typical ME themes.

That said, keep up the good work, looking forward to the "bridging" DLC.

Very good dlc. very good ending loved it. I also loved the hammerhead exploration, reminded me of me1. But it could of been better by simply adding one new weapon or armor, and why did none of the companions talk? I mean really not one word came out of them but overall great dlc.

right. it's paragon to just let something just shoot at you, and not shoot back in retaliation... perfect sense. "if someone shot at a cop, a cop definitely wouldn't shoot back...especially if the cop is legally obligated to it in that sense. He's allowed to kill people who already shot at  him.", Hal 9000.

Hammerhead needs an Armor Upgrade, like actual shields. Cardboard doesn't do well against bullets.

As long as you are not in the Hammerhead the DLC is fantastic. I will, however, give points to the general landscape while in the Hammerhead. THAT is what the planets in the original Mass Effect should have been.

Anyone else nearly ruin their pants when the green pixels started shouting? Terrific atmosphere.

Yes! The whole 'being watched' feeling that was present through the whole campaign was fantastic.

This is what DLC is all about. This was the Bioware gold standard. Excellent VO, graphics and most importantly story. I played a ruthless renegade shep, but there was no way in hell i was taking the renegade option in this dlc.

Would have been great to have had some squad banter, but i was happy that bringing legion brought in a unique piece of dialogue.

If any one complains about this, they really are souless

Amazing DLC... The better I have played until now

Nearly 2 hours of great fun... Definitely worth it !!

If I have to find a defect I should just say it's a pity it doesn't add anything to the main story..

But it really deserves every single cent I spent to buy it...
