So if two Grey Wardens (male and female) had a child
will that child be a Grey Warden? as in tainted with darkspawn blood,
the kid can sense darkspawn and stuff?

Well I can't go into a long explanation because there would be spoilers. But the short answer is the child would be born with the corruption of the Dark Spawn so I don't see why it couldn't become a Grey Warden, considering that is what makes a Grey Warden special.

And I say corruption because I got sick of hearing about the "Taint" in Two Worlds.

It is hard for Grey Wardens to have children, at least according to Alistair. However, why wouldn't the kid of just one Grey Warden do the same? The other explanation is that the child would turn into a ghoul, but the game is not incredibly clear on this.

I think its been explained by Gaider that the odds of 2 Wardens even being able to have a child are insanely slim. Maybe not impossible, but just about. Although it is certainly possible for one Warden and a non-Warden to have a child.

A child between a Warden and non-Warden is quite possible and wouldn't be tainted.

A child between 2 Wardens is next to impossible.

Not completely true. Sometimes a mother's body protects the embryo from certain diseases. HIV can pass to a child but not in all cases. Think of it as a poison. In small doses the fetus could develop an immunity or be aborted if the strain is too great. I would think the strain the corruption would cause to the child would be the major hindrance to child bearing between two wardens.

Gaider has explicitly stated at some point on these forums that two gray wardens can't have kids, though I recall him saying that they might be able to with outside magical help.

pfff, please, with enough fire in their pants and some magical help even horses and donkeys can have offspring, not to mention two young healthy people who were tainted for six months at most.

Horses and donkeys are very closely related and have been crossbred to produce mules for centuries without the aid of magic, what with the fact that magic does not exist.

Or are you attributing the effects of what we call genetics to magic because it's too sufficiently advanced for you to understand?

Do you pay attention to what the people in the game say? Where did you even get that idea? Alistair mentions many times that his mother was a servant in Arl Eamon's castle.

so doesn't that mean that the Warden and Morrigan's child would be born as a Grey Warden or something like that

It says it in one of the books The Calling or The Stolen Throne
says that Maric had a child with a warden then i think Duncan promised them to look after this child which is probably Alistair

so if you haven't read don't make smart ass comments as if you're the smartest douchebag in the world

I had the feeling that if two Grey Wardens did ever conceive a child that the taint would most likely kill the child before it was even born or worse.

Alistair mentions something about it but since this is the No Spoilers forum I shouldn't write it :P

I imagine the kid would have a shorter life span and maybe a good amount of resistance to the taint.
So the kid could easily become a grey warden.*like getting really in touch with the archdemon*
Otherwiswe completely human maybe having a harder time having a kid.

In my DA:O, my female Warden and Leliana, with the help of a rogue blood mage convinced a child which turned out to be normal. No taint whatsoever. I will keep you guys updated as she grows older. She is just a baby as of now and Leliana is taking care of her. Wynne helped greatly through the pregnancy. Leliana carried the baby, not my female Warden as my female Warden is the "man" of the relationship. Leliana has more of a motherish touch anyways. Looking at her face, she has the female Warden's strength and Leliana's gentleness.

I also have "runscript pc_immortal" on my female Warden so she won't have to go to the deep roads after 30 years. So she will be with Leliana for the rest of her life raising their child, dying of old age as normal people would.
I will also "runscript pc_immortal" the baby so she can grow healthy and beautiful as both of her mothers.
