So i just finished Project Overlord and it was really good, fun, kinda creepy and being more story based the more recent ME2 dlc it was very good and well worth $7 and worth the wait. I would suggest it to anyone wanting some more Mass effect 2 action and story.

I dont feel its a rip off at $7 however it doesnt even come close to the 2.5 hours promised. Atleast not from my experience. I knocked it out for the first time play-through in about an hour and forty minutes. Still need to go back and explore for the one achievment but I cant imagine that taking an hour.

It was good, the main thing I would have liked to see would be replacing the Hammerheads VI with one of your squadmates speaking up... But that means you'd have to add 12 parallel audio files per comment...

It was an awesome piece of DLC, they actually listened to the community feedback about the Hammerhead!

What I don't get is how do you use a Hammerhead in the DLC, if someone didn't download the Firewalker DLC?

I thought Overlord was pretty fun but it got me to think of a question. Can Shepard be hacked like the geth?

nope..

but i was playing on veteran so i guess i would have a slightly hard time in the hammerhead :P

that small problem aside, it was well worth the 560MP i paid  good story, amazing locations and the end.... just wow ;)

I honestly have to say that the beginning was actually a bit dull. It did get interesting in the second half but the ending was really good. I was honestly surprised by the humoristic parts. The first time Shepard opens his mouth is hilarious. Dialogue was kinda limited but that's expected for DLC and the absence of squad dialogue made some of Shepard's dialogue seem a bit out of place. The Hammerhead was slightly better implemented but could still use some work. It did have one moment where it could really shine and you could truly enjoy the Hammerhead. The new planet wasn't exactly Uncharted World 2.0. More like 1.5, combining Uncharted World with N7 missions in an interesting way.
Overall, Overlord is above average but not straight A material. But it's still your money's worth.

So, what improvements did they make to the Hammerhead? Can it take more damage? Does it have a HUD? Any new weapons? Enemy hover-tanks, maybe?

There's enemy turrets, mechs and even a ship mass accelerator cannon as new enemies. There's no change in damage and there's no new HUD.

I personally really liked the mass accelerator cannon.

Awesome DLC, aside from the lack of needed changes for the Hammerhead (HUD, shields, save points) it was very, very well made. Great story, great action, great locations and exploration, even some decent puzzles. Definately worth the money.

Huh? Don't count on it. It's called the 'Dirty Dozen' for a reason, preeeetty sure they're sticking with what we've already got in terms of squadmates.

You'll spend more time looking for the 6 Data nodes, but once you know where they are, even on Insanity it will be faster each time.

The Mass Accelerator Cannon on the Geth Frigate was a nice change, even killed me a few times when I realized I was playing ME2 and not Borderlands. (LT for boost, not LB >_>)

I will say again, the Hammerhead needs upgrading. I hate it's weapons compliment and I can't stand having the defense rating of a flying cardboard box.

Anyway yes, the upgrade in the mission is a Heavy Skin Weave.

In the Atlas Facility, before the lower levels when you get off the hacked Elevator. You're scanning a Geth corpse for it next to the wall, but if you look around it's almost impossible to miss.
