* Reduced the amount mining time required to acquire all upgrades.
Must be hard to read at least the second line of the changelog.

After this patch the Steam overlay in Steam no longer works with ME2. Sucks when you're using the Steam version. :/
I've got Steam version and patch and overlay works fine for me...

That's very weird, shift+tab does nothing for me whatsoever, not even getting message pop-ups from friends..vadrillan wrote...

I don't have the Steam version myself, but try right-clicking the on the game from the Games tab, and go to Properties. Ensure that "Enabled Steam Community In-Game" is enabled (with a check mark) on the GENERAL tab of the pop-up box.xiiz wrote...

What does "Reduced the amount mining time required to acquire all upgrades" mean? Do they cost less or does the actual mining go faster or something else?
They increased the size of the cursor that you use to scan the planets, so it will speed it up the mining process. I've tried it earlier and got about ~200,000 of each mineral in about 1 hour to 1,5 so that's already enough for the rest of the game.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for. Thanks!

Wasn't that, turned out Steam was borked.. A restart fixed it.TruYuri wrote...

Does this contain a fix for the in-game hotkey swapping crash? That's probably the only crash I've seen in this game that's 100% reproducible and takes no more than a few seconds. I really hope it was fixed.
I agree, it would be nice to see that fixed. Hotbar/power dragging instability is one of the few outstanding issues with the game. (The other being the floating-in-air bug.)

The Xbox 360 version got this patch already last month.langelog wrote...
Are these patches for Xbox 360 as well? If not can we expect fixes soon? I'm still having trouble with getting stuck in cover and helplessly floating in the air. Also, I still encounter a problem in which my choices concerning Conrad Verner don't import properly, he insists I shoved a gun in his face when I was completley nice with him. Another issue is the mission in ME1 where I had to save the Sirta Foundation from biotic terrorists goes on to say there was a massacre and that the company doesn't recover from its losses. Please fix these few bugs Bioware and I'll have no further complaints, thankyou.
As far as I know concerning Conrad, this is intentional and not a bug. With Shepard gone, he just goes nuts. Listen to him speaking when he says that, and even in his voice you can tell he's bluffing.
Omega: Packages for Ish (as I mentioned before) and this both are quite bothersome.searanox wrote...

This is actually an issue from ME1, you even hear a news announcement about the slaughter when riding an elevator after completing the mission with no scientist casualties. It is either a bug from ME1, which will likely never be fixed, or a PR spin from Sirta as a cover up for an intended shutdown.

These two bugs are actually the only ones I have experienced in the game. the graphics issue is only a minor annoyance, but I hope they fix the packages for Ish completion as I can see it having some impact on events in ME3.

No, it's checked wrong in the save file. And the dialogue is exactly the same whether you shoved a gun at him or not, so how could he sound more like he's bluffing once than the other time? O.o I find it rediculous because for the file importing feature, they ALWAYS brought up Conrad as an example. And then it was bugged. And those aren't the only two import errors.
You can manually change it with a save file editor, but you have to start a completely new game. I'm going to do that eventually, but what if I do change it and it bugs out ME3?
As far as the mineral thing goes, I always said it would have been fun if there were fewer spikes, and each spike gave more. Increasing the size of the cursor accomplishes almost the same thing, one would think. But I did some mining today and it only took a few less probes than average to mine out a planet. ;-) That could have just been a coincidence.
