i cnat seem to pick up the pistol in the first area. i can get up and move around, but i cant get sheppard th\\o take the frigging pistol from the locker. if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

Aim your character at the locker. When the blue box highlights, press spacebar.



If you've changed your key bindings, then go back and reset them.

Also, check if your PC really meets the system requirements. This is normally a sign for to slow performance.
