So I picked up Overlord which appeared to come out today and I tried to install it only for it to say that ME2 isn't installed and I think the error might be due to that I have the Steam version of ME2 and it's looking for the game somewhere else and not finding it. Thing is the file is just a straight executable and there's no way of telling it to install somewhere else. Are there any fixes for this?
Overlord, Steam, ME2 not installed?

I'm having a similar issue - Vista x64 Steam install. I had no issues with Kasumi but when I execute the installer for Overlord it tells me that Mass Effect 2 is not installed.
I have downloaded the file with 3 different browsers and restarted multiple times inbetween but I am still getting the same error message. Any suggestions?

Already tried running as admin (it was the first thing I tried)

I managed to fix it by having ME2 running before starting the install package. This then reported that ME2 was running and needed to be terminated before it could install. I quit from ME2 and ran the installer and it worked.

I play ME2 under Steam have had never had any problems with any DLC, including OverLord. I usually download the DLC install program to a "downloads" directory inside my ME2 directory under Steam, and the installer has never had a problem finding the ME2 directory.

I have tried running the overlord DLC with and without ME2 in the background.
The only thing i got was "ME2 is running" error when i had that running, and overlord still refused to install itself after...
Any developer looking into this? I really have no use for 1337 haxxor bullcrap solutions.
