Hey, I have a few questions
First off, can I uninstall both Mass Effect games but keep my save files intact (I'm pretty sure I can, but I just want to be absolutely sure)?
Second, if I uninstall Mass Effect 2, will I have to download the DLCs again? Will I have to pay for them again?
Third, if the answer to the above questions is “no”, is there anyway to tweak the game so the DLC quests don’t become available until I'm ready for them (ie, they aren't availible right after I set foot on the Normandy 2.0)?
A few uninstallation questions

Backup of savegames? Just backup the Bioware folder in My Documents.
If you still have the installer, you don't need to download it again. You don't need to buy it again. The DLC is bound to your account and can be downloaded here: http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

I believe ME2 has an option you can tick to have it preserve your saves & settings. ME1 may have something similar but I'm not so sure there. To be certain you don't lose anything, back the saves up as Recnamoken suggests.
