I'm playing the PC version of ME2 and I'm at the mission "Hunting the Assassin", where is at the towers. I've come to an elevator which I know is supposed to bring me to the next level(the engineering bridge or whatever), but which does not. I've tried everything in can in different orders etc.. I've spoken to every single mob, done every single thing on that map etc.. I've watched a youtube clip "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofOoLauieaI&feature=related" which is at where I'm stuck and I am doing EXACTLY the same thing that has been done here. 

I've come to the point where I'm not playing ME2 anymore cause of this frustration. Please help me!!!!

A few more specifics would be nice. is it that the elevator doors don't open, or that once the elevator has come down and the enemy's come out that it won't work?

The elevator has come down and the enemies has been killed. You are supposed to push "enter" to push the button to activate the elevator when you get in. But for some reason this does not work.
