If anyone playing on PC and have problem with the Hammerhead's toughness there is a tweak to remedy it:

In the Colaesced.ini look for [SFXGame.SFXVehicleHover] (BIOGame section  in CED). There are two attributes under it:

SelfRepairRate -> higher the number, higher the repairpoint during time i.e. faster repair

SelfRepairDelay -> lower the number (floating point) the faster the repair will kick in

Actually, immunity is possible to reach, but that is not so good, so play with the numbers to find out a suitable toughness.

(For whom does not know how to edit the Colaesced, pls check the modding forum for detailes:

Of course you can tweak the other attributes as well (like BoostForce), but I don;t think it is necessary.

I've tried all kinds of different variations with the info you provided and the hammerhead still gets one shotted. I also did some research using google and no one has anything listed a sa cheat for making the hammerhead tougher. If you have a link to an actual cheat example for this with the numbers to change to that would be great.

Strange, it worked me quite well. With SelfRepairDelay=0.01 and SelfRepairRate=1000 my Hammerhead could stand in front of one turret and withstand a lot of punishment without problem (not invulnerable ofc, if I don't move it will blow eventually, but does not blow from few shots, even I could stay in line of sight all the time with moving and shooting).

What values did you used? To make a different you have to change the values greatly. For example decreasing the SelfRepairDelay from the default 5 to 1 does not make significant different, but setting it to 0.01 does. Same applies to the SelfRepairRate. The default is 500, changing it to 600 does not cut it, but changing it to 1000 or 2000 will make the self repair more effective.

Believe me, it works. Yesterday I played through the Overlord DLC with two of my Shepards on Insanity and I could fight with the turrets without using cover and peek-a-boo style. Just hovering, moving constantly and firing while both turrent shooting me.

I used to trick the system. (at least on insanity)

Go behind a rock.

Use the jumper, let some rockets fly.

Then smiply 'levitate' back behind the rock.

Repeat.

Furthermore, I played with the JumpForce attribute a little bit. With high enough Z value (like 6000) you can jump so high that hit the invisible ceiling of the area :)

Yeah, everyone knows that. That is the peek-a-boo style. Ofc, the Hammerhead is viable on Instanity if you are patient and tactical. For that there is no reason for tweaking. The only reason for me is that I hate not being able to save during the Hammerhead parts, so one mistake and I have to play again from the begining of the section, meaning defeating things again that I already done.

Thanks for the info. I adjusted it to 3000 with the 0.01, and after running the ME2  inf. fixer it ran like a dream. it makes the hammerhead much more appealing now. thanks again. :)
