All of the major DLC and patches reset the coalesced.ini to something more default since that's what the developers worked with. That's why it's always a good idea to back up your coalesced.ini if you've modded it before installing the patches and DLC.

when does restore the coalesced.ini backup, create problems during the game of overlord?

Just a word of caution:
If 1.02 changes something in the coalesced.ini and you restore your modded 1.00 or 1.01 .ini you're reverting any potential bugfixes that have been made.

I manually added all my changes to the 1.02 coalesced only to later test virgin 101 vs virgin 102 coalesced's in freedif. They're identical. Manually editing the 1.02 is a waste of your time.
