Occupying the 4th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rabbit symbolizes such character traits as creativity, compassion, and sensitivity. Rabbits are friendly, outgoing and prefer the company of others. They also prefer to avoid conflict. In confrontational situations, Rabbits approach calmly and with consideration for the other party. Rabbits believe strongly in friends and family and lacking such bonds can lead to emotional issues.
Their serene nature keeps Rabbits from becoming visibly upset. Because they’re serene animals, Rabbits are easily taken advantage of. Their sensitive nature makes them shy away from aggressive or competitive situations. They’re overall conservative and not interested in taking risks.

While it's fun to look at horoscopes, Chinese or otherwise, one should be aware of WHY they often appear accurate. It's nothing to do with actual predictive power of astrology (there is none), but more to do with human psychology, and careful wording of horoscope descriptions.
Who would not, for example, want to see themselves as creative, compassionate and sensitive, along with all the other positive traits? We humans have this healthy ego that loves to affirm positive things said about ourselves, even when they, objectively evaluated, might not be as true as we'd like them to be. I call this minor self deception "healthy" because the people that don't have this kind of an ego, are the clinically depressed.
The other thing that gives horoscopes their seeming accuracy is vagueness - which horoscopes utilize to differing degrees; using descriptors that could apply to anyone.
There is yet another psychological element that makes us look at horoscopes as being more accurate than they might, objectively speaking, be. This is confirmation bias - we tend to instinctively focus on things that are accurate, and dismiss things that are less so; and we're all vulnerable to this effect. This leads to a bias that confirms our ideas, whether or not those ideas are actually true. Another less harmless feature of our "healthy" egos.
I'm a Wood Rabbit in the chinese zodiac, and like you, my description seemed, at initial reading, quite accurate - untill I looked at it again with a more critical eye. In fact, the parts that I liked to judge as accurate - creativity, compassion, etc. were things that any reader would be likely to count as "hits". The more detailed descriptions were mostly wrong.
I don't tend to shy away from conflict, though I don't like conflict for the sake of conflict either. I'm supposed to be very organized and keep my house tidy at all times.... well, let's just say that my apartment doesn't agree.
I'm not particularly coservative, though I'm not recless either - more of a middle-ground. I do enjoy the company of friends and family (who doesn't?), but I'm also a very private person that's quite comfortable being alone.
Of course, just statistically speaking, it's inevitable that sometimes a horoscope gets more things right than one would expect by chance, just like statistically speaking, if you throw a quarter enough times, you'll get rows of heads or tails that you would not expect in a single-trial.
The illusionary nature of the "accuracy" of horoscopes is well demonstrated in experments like this.

Occupying the 10th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rooster symbolizes such character traits as confidence, pompousness and motivation. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Rooster are loyal, trustworthy individuals who are blunt when it comes to offering their opinions. Their bluntness stems not from being mean but from being honest; a trait which Roosters expect from others.
thats pretty much true, i´m a terrible lier.
edit: the part after that is bull though, it says i´m verry social and always want to be the center of attention, while i hate being the center of attention.

Metal Monkeys are determined and ambitious individuals and as a result, they’re often successful. Although they’re considered warm-hearted and very likeable, their preference in life is to be alone. Metal Monkeys are loyal to both their employers and their partners.
Heeey, i liked that
