I'm curious as to how much, if at all, the side quests effect the endings.
For example, if I do the rogue's guild quests in Denerium am I going to have black marks against me later? What about the mages collective or the Irregulars? Seems a lot of these quests are worded to make you think you are being mislead or duped into doing things.
I'm trying to play a chaotic good mage, against the chantry and control, but recognizing the danger of demons and rogue mages. I turned down the Crow overature, but I don't want to miss out on all the side xp of the other three factions.
Any help?
Side quests effecting endings?

Well, in the epilogue, I had a short thing about a side quest show up at the end. You know that one female dwarf in orzammar that wants you to find out if she can study at the mage's tower? If you finish that one it talks about how she finished her studies and whatnot at the end. I thought that was pretty neat.
As for the mage's collective, rogue guild, etc., I finished all of them and didn't see anything extra at the end for them.

Only one I had was the Brother in Orzammar.
I helped him set up a Chantry post inside Orzammar and it let me know how it turned out.

there are a feew that get a slide in the ending. the wanna be mage dwarf is one. afaik the crows/ chantry board type ones wont show up. there were several i didnt do that showed up in the slides at the end as a backdrop for a larger event that occuered because i didnt do them.
