- TW1's story(telling) was also more enjoyable than DA:O's, imo TW1 was the slightly better game overall.
- I'm worried that DA:2 is being rushed out.

- Agreed.
- Agreed. Whatever they say, having barely over a year between two games (especially deep, complex games like RPGs - we're not talking sport games or FPS here!) is not a good sign. Will it be as rich as DAO? We'll see, but for now, I have a lot of doubts (and then again, the in-game visuals just aren't attractive one bit to me).

Come on, prove me wrong, Bioware.

As for the big guy from the trailer, well he is with the mean elf the main antagonist of TW2.

wrong... elf isn't Geralt's antagonist ... but big bald assasin yes... but if main?... ;)

Well, just like in The Witcher, it was the Grandmaster of the Order who was the main enemy, so I'm sure TW2 will have someone working behind the scene who's the main baddie.

As for TW1, I loved the fact the real final boss was the King of the Wild Hunt, rather than the Grandmaster. It was more epic, and he looks like a much more menacing foe.

TW2's story will focus a lot on Geralt's memory, and it will come back. I'm hoping/guessing we'll see Ciri (for those who don't know who that is, I won't spoil it for you). Maybe even Yennefer

mmm I think that Ciri is more probable than Yenefer... ( Why? You have it in 7'th book on the end)...

Isn't Yennefer dead? I haven't read many books of the saga, but that was my understanding.

Unless CDP changes the ending of the book, they were together in Avalon like. We knowthat from Ciri´s tale (it´s unclear whether it´s true or she´s just making it up to cope with grief, but I think everything up to that point was what had really happened). If would be strange to change that Geralt returns ala King Arthur but she´s left behind and upgrade Triss to main LI, especially after Shani relationship with Geralt feels more like the one he (almost) had with Essi. That would make Liara preLotSB good in comparison (Yennefer dies -or not- for using too much power trying to heal Geralt, Triss was also there, leaves clear who cared more for him).

I was never a fan of the Witcher, never saw what the big deal with it was. Put I'll probably pick it up eventually.

I'll get both.. but The Witcher 2 really outshines DAII in many departments.

I'll play both but DA2 is first in line. The things that I don't like about changes in DA- voiced PC, more limited character, etc.- are already in TW. I prefer the lore of DA. However, I expect I'll enjoy both games even if neither hold a candle to DAO.
