I need to know where to go to get this armor. I'v eonly picked up one thing and I'm almost done with the game.
I have cerberus armor, but I don't use it cause it's ugly.

Blood Dragon armor is available if you purchase a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins.

Collector Armor is available by purchasing the Collector's Edition of ME2.

Inferno Armor you can now get as part of the Equalizer DLC pack.

Terminus Armor was available by pre-ordering from Gamestop.

I suppose any of these armors can be obtained so long as you get someone's unused code for it.

That 's for normal powers like Warp & Overload not ammo powers.

Ammo powers are not added to the base damage they make their own separate damage call (which is based of the weapons base damage) before the weapon's own damage call so i'm pretty sure it works the way SupidSeep said

Nope, with lvl 4 warp and blood dragon, warp ammo is at +65%. Applicable percentages are added together first.

---------------------------

There is no "best" obtainable armor, they are all good for one thing or another and really the "best" armor depends on what bonuses best help your play style.

On the flip side, you can also just go for whatever looks best. There's also a number of gamers (including myself) that go through insanity playthroghs without a thought about the bonuses. They help, but aren't necessary.

Ammo Powers

Ammo powers
make a separate damage call before
the initial weapon damage call, and they use their own damage
multipliers on resistances and health, as Christina mentions above.

Example:
If the initial regular weapon damage is 100 against a target
with shields, then:
With Disruptor Ammo rank 1, you do an additional
20 damage to shields. If any of this damage passes through to health,
it is negated (unless hitting a synthetic enemy) since this ammo power
does nothing to health.
With Incendiary Ammo rank 1, you do no extra
damage since this ammo type does nothing to shields.

Ammo Powers
benefit from + Power Damage bonuses, such as the +15% power damage from
the Blood Dragon armor. However, they do not get benefits from + Biotic
or Tech bonuses or any other bonuses specific to certain types of powers

Yeah so like i said Ammo power damage & the weapon damage are separate & the + Power Damage bonus only effects the damage total that is being done by the Ammo power not overall damage because Ammo power damage & weapon damage are not combined to make one big total but are instead two differet damage calls with the ammo 1st weapon 2nd

Collector Armor is good for Health reasons. Regen bonus+Health bonus is really effective, especially for Vanguards who use Charge into the fray.

...but those are Vanguards. Terminus armor is also good. More ammo, better shields.

no matter what you are in class, collector armor is the best. I am more considering about health, quick regeneration, fast moving.

So what you guys are saying is, my Shepard could go out there in a frilly pink dress with a picnic basket slung in one arm and that would be as good as any other armor combinations?

Yup. I'd go with only a beard and a shotgun, but yeah, it makes so little difference that it really doesn't matter. Maybe one of those hats with a propeller...

I have a problem with keeping the same look throughout a game where you can change things up, so I'd like to see what other kinds of armor there is.

Personally, the only two armor pieces that make a big difference are the 25% melee damage shoulder pieces and the 25% storm speed leg pieces.

However, I don't run a lot and don't melee as a play style. So, they are of no worth to me.

If I'm an adept, engineer, vanguard or sentenal and feel I need the extra power boost then blood dragon armor is litter literally the best armor with it's 15% power and 10% shield bonuses.

However, you can do 13% power and 8% sheild bonuses with n7 armor pieces and have the option to customize the colors and actually see sheppard's face.

On that note, aesthetics become more important to me, as watching flashing lights while sheppard talks is boring.

So, I go with the visor and armor combination that gives me 15% sheilds and 15% health. I'm not too keen on the legs that give 10% health bonus, but all around, I think it's the best combination of looks and functionality. It's the Sentry interface, Asymmetric Defense Layer, Shield Harness, Heavy Damping Gauntlets, and Life Support Webbing. When I'm on a mission that requires a helmet the bonuses drop to 10% shields and 25% health, so that's nice too :)

However, as I've stated before, you could play with the default n7 armor and make it through insanity if you preferred looks over anything else.

I think I have it figured out.. Anything above Normal, and the armors dont count for diddly. Hell, "diddly" is probably worth more at that point.

I re-played some old saves and compared. With the Chest capacitator vest thing, as soon as I hid behind cover, a second later, it recharged my shields. (Normal). But in Insanity, the vest might as well have been a cardboard box. I noticed shields recharged a LOT slower, and as far as I could tell, it didnt have the same usefulness.

Unfortunately, the storm speed bonus is 10%.
But you're right, I think those are worth it. My assault sentinel use them.
