Darth_Trethon: 6 days is close enough to a week for those of us not of such a pedantic manner. At the time of his posting, it was five days and roughly 14 hours. (As it was 9 AM here when he did)

Any one else notice Leliana treating to knife a priest in the middle shot. She is such a hypocrite, lol.
???
You do realize this DLC takes place before she joined the chantry and "changed her ways", right?
1. I was joke 2. yes I do realize that it is a prequal and she has changed since than, but even though she changed her ways I do still think she didn't really have the right to critize people so harsh (like with the priest in lothering) when they do the same thing that she used to do. Now I not saying she shouldn't find it wrong I just saying that she really has no place to judge. however I like her enough that I don't really care if she was being hypocritcal.
Haven't you ever heard the saying "the only thing worse than a drunk is a reformed drunk"?

And I am guessing the 3rd one will be an Elf Mage ( saw it in the SS )
I wonder if Marjolaine will join us or she just watch us from afar.

Overlord's that good huh? Still have to get it. I'm with you on the story thing. That's what the vast majority of us bought the game for. And nobody can give me that "don't speak for a majority" crap because it's true. I'm positive that almost everybody who bought the game knew that they were gonna get a story and character driven game, not a hack n slash. And those that did expect a hack n slash obviously did no research and were most likely dissappointed (I actually know such a person).night0205 wrote...
This DLC costs 7 dollars. I am not surprised that Bioware keeps on throwing out DLC, because it doesn't take that long to make a good DLC and they are getting millions out of them. I just pray that this DLC will be as long as they can make it, and as story and character focused as they can make it, because we know the fighting is fun, but Dragon Age has always been more then fighting. If this "song" is as satisfying to Dragon Age as Overlord was to Mass Effect 2, then I am really looking forward to it.
The DSC was a good mindless experiment but that's not what the game is about. What I really hope for is the return of the DLC that centers around the PC, that would be great. But if this companion character DLC is going to go on for the next little while, I'd like to see something about Sten or Zev. They're already about to release a DLC with the character that I personally think would have a great story, so Sten's life before or after Origins would be cool. And Zev being hunted by the Crows would get me interested too. Alistair's my favorite male companion character, but training to be a Templar wouldn't be very ineresting if you ask me. And as for Morrigan? I'd rather Bioware keep things hush hush about her until they release the trailer for DA2 and she's there and it's all BOOM IN YOUR FACE DRAGON AGE FANS!!! I'M BACK!!!!! That's the way I see it turning out ideally. Oh and also, HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!!!!!

Avalla'ch, I don't think they'd stoop low enough to claim an already in-game item as being new. I'm going to hold out and hope for the best on this.
Well, I will just say "Don't hold your breath.":D

To each one his tastes but... Really there is someone who plays DLC just for a new item in the inventory? I'll play it just for the story and for the fun to expand the story of one of my favourite character.. I really don't mind anything about an eventual reward if you finish the DLC..

Agreed. Especially if the "basic items" are really enough powerfull to finish the game easily...

So, I take this assumption was aimed at me?
Who said I am playing it 'only' for the new item? I just want to know if I'll be getting another overpowered garbage cluttering my inventory.<_<

No no... I wasn't critizicing anyone...
Since I read a lot of posts where many people were talking about this thing I was just curious to know if there was anyone who was more interested in it instead of be more interested to the story
Or people who aren't interested into the story at all but will buy it just for the reward
I mean.. I wasn't interested in Darkspawn Chronicles cause I didn't like the story and didn't agree with that idea.. therefore I haven't it (it's the only DLC I passed at now) regardless of the reward you may get with it
But it wasn't specifically referred to your post... just a general asking for my curiosity..

Judging from the way Blightblood used a model that already existed, I doubt we're going to get a weapon with a new model. It's probably going to have the elven longsword model, judging from the trailer.

You already know that......Leliana in DAO pretty much spills the beans about what heppened between her and Marjolaine, the betrayal and then her escape that drove her to the chantry in Ferelden which is where you find her close to in DAO.

While I feel that the story and quality of the DLC take front seat I also feel that an appropriate reward is important so it would be somewhat dissapointing to see yet another good DLC after ME2's Overlord with a pointless or nonexisting reward.

Now.. THAT's the biggest question i have concerning the DLC
When you heard her story in DA you have the feeling that what happened between her and Majorlaine, her period as a Bard, and her escape to the chantry cover a long period of her life... Maybe also some years... I am really puzzled now.
I don't know how they was able to summarize such a long story in a DLC which I don't expect anyway be longer than 2 hours....maybe a little less...
Or are we going to see only the last moments of that story?

I thought that what she explained was everything that was important.....all the drastic shifts. Sure there was more history there but I didn't get the impression that any important event that led to her....exile for lack of a better word......was left out.

So we are going to do a "fast play"... How she knew Majorlaine, how she was seduced by her, how she became a bard, the mission for Majorlaine, how she was betrayed, the prison, the torture, the escape and how she joined the Church.... all in one..
My only fear is that we won't be able to dip into the story with all these things in the time of a DLC... But that we'll see just a fast serie of events...

Now I am obviously guessing here since I have no solid real info on this but I seriously doubt that this DLC will cover the whole history that Leliana had with the bards from joining to exile. I could be wrong, I wish to be wrong but I just don't see it happening. My guess is that we'll only get to play through a portion of all that......probably the ending events as the trailer and provided info seem to be relatively clear that her betrayal and escape at the very least will be in. Ultimately I'd be shocked if this DLC runs over 90 minutes given the price and promised quality but we'll just have to wait and see.

Well.. I trust we have to wish you are NOT wrong
Playing her "last days as a Bard and her escape to the Curch" will cover exactly the right time of a DLC and will be able to give us an enjoyable story
Trying to cover a longer period of their story - as I said - would mean just to see a fast serie of events separated in time...
Even if I will be displeased to not see all the "seductive arts" of Majorlaine
