Well..no interest then.
Great news that they are focusing more on our old characters, but I sort of feel the same as the above poster.
I guess the main disappointing element to me in this is that you actually play "as" Leliana (and your other companions, in the event that this idea is carried further). To me, the companions in Dragon Age were interesting since they gave the impression of being real people with their own hidden past, problems etc.
Thus, I think I would have prefered getting to accompany (as a player character) them on their mission rather than "being" them (and presumably picking their dialogue etc). I guess it just seems strange to me to sort of assume their personality in this way, since it is such a switch of perspective. If this approach is followed in later DLCs, "being" Alistair, Zevran etc would feel a bit strange to me personally and not quite what I was hoping for. But maybe it's just me. I guess it is a matter of taste.
see..i like playing as Leilana nd in the future as other companions...for me it pleases me that i have an even more direct way to shape them...but i understand your point...
Though i kinda doubt u get to shape them the way u want to..i mean Leliana already has the story made of her past in Origins..wich makes me wonder how will this DLC work

I love Leliana, would love to carry on an adventure WITH her, but not AS her....
Seriously, poeple are getting all dove eyed over this news? WK, RtO, DSC.....you folk really think this will be so much better than those?
A few dollars for a an hours (max) stoyline, and one that doesnt even make any difference to the main story?

I don't think we'll get to choose what she says. But I really have no idea.
It could play out like in Origins when you can take Morrigan into the Fade to save Connor

You play the DLC every time you start a new game. If you pass it you get to recruit Leliana in Lothering and she give's you the item as "something she picked up on an earlier adventure..." if you fail it, then no Leliana in Lothering.
Same thing could then be done with other companions with later DLCs.
I know this is something a bit over complicated for a simple DLC, but it was just a thought after all.

This is pretty cool I guess, I'm not going to get it however as I'm not a massive Leliana fan. *gasp!* Maybe this means we will get DLC of what Morrigan does after the final battle?
Seems more like a DA2 sorta thing.

No way, I want more Marj dialogue! She makes me laugh uncontrollably, all I hear is Edna from the Incredibles!

What's wrong with her voice? I kind of like it:

I imagine Leliana will be more hard edged/unsavory since this is set during her Bard days.
Never even thought about that. This is before she found the maker and everything. This could be... very interesting.

Because one of my annoyances with Return to Ostagar was some of the bizarre dialogue, like Alistair and Wynne flirting- thats not right:sick:

I'm kind of curious if Sheryl Chee did Leliana's dialogue in this DLC or if another writer did?

I thought it fitted Alistair quite well, Wyne i'm not to sure about.
