This Leliana DLC sounds verygood. I wonder if the 1.04 patch will ready at the start of July ... just in time for this DLC??
Concerning possible Loghain DLC - if released someday, I hope it would reveal how King Maric died.

--True, then maybe do 2 backgrounds for the dog. Not like it matters since they wont likely do any more of these. Its the BioWare thing to do these days.thepiebaker wrote...

Not to sound disappointed but really, a background quest?
Another download that adds nothing to the current game at all, is not what I would like to have seen. I would rather see some download/expansion that actually adds to the current game itself not some back story. Or worse yet one that messes up continuality like Awakenings did. Lets get something that opens up some new areas to do quests in with my group. But no, we get another stand alone episode that doesn’t even include the Warden and the rest of the group.
Kind of funny how the first 3 downloads (Stone Prisoner, Wardens Keep and Return to Ostagar) added to the game as you played it. With Darkspawn Chronicles and Leliana’s Song its just content that has no real affect on the main game at all and really has limited replay value.
Will I get this Leliana’s Song? Maybe. It does sound interesting but I just wish it was something that added to the actual game.
If you (BioWare) want to do background quests, then do it right and just make it a collection to put on a disk. You could then do the backgrounds of all the companions.
Just some quickly thought out ideas:
-Alistair and his joining including meeting the other Wardens he mentions,
-Sten and his exploration with his group up to the night they got attacked.
-Wynne you could go with either before Ostagar or right after the battle leading up to the battle in the Circle Tower.
-Morrigan a visit to the Chasind Wilders and maybe a trip into Lothering.
-Oghren, well anything set in the deep roads and Orzammar could be good.
-Zevran, so many options including his life with the Crows in Antiva.
-Dog, yes even the Ostagar dog could have his own leading up to the battle in which he was hurt.
-With this Leliana one, it would be something that I would consider getting.
though if you play as a human noble then dog is already in your party and the quest to heal it is a just a random micro mini quest with no importance what so ever

Looks like Leliana has a different hair style in her earlier bard days...
Should be cool to possibly see Orlais for the 1st time, maybe?
EXACTLY what I was thinking..has been a wish of mine for awhile. Not sure about playing Leil herself, but hey I played Darkspawn Chronicles, so the Leil dlc has to be better.

I know it's too early, but i can't stop but wonder if we will be able to see Antiva in a future "Younger Zevran" DLC

Please BioWare wake the hell up. MANY OF US WANT TO PLAY OUR CHARACTERS! Not the characters in our party in a prequeal.
Well on the bright side we get some(yet unspecified) stuff for our DAO and Awakening characters to use/wear....so we get to be cooler when playing our characters lol. But yeah I can get behind the idea that they need to get back to our main character even though I don't mind this DLC......the way I see it is I am extremely happy that BioWare finaly delivers on the promise of DLC that they kept throwing at us for years since before the release of ME1 and never really delivered until after the release of DAO.

3 weeks away?? Another stand-alone DLC for which we already know the outcome. Finally, we'll get to see Val Royeaux and get more details about the relationship between Leliana and Marjolaine. Is that worth $7 to you?
You betcha!!!

Hopefully the upcoming dlc will have replay value, Darkspawn Chronicles..not so much.
I get that things will change over time for the Dragon Age franchise, so Bioware lets do this, give us what we want, completion to our stories for our characters, and THEN move on to the new and shiney.
Also, it would have been much better to allow us to play side by side with Leiliana instead of making her ...us, basically. But seeing that its out in 3 weeks, my feedback is pretty much moot at this time. *sigh*
Keeping fingers crossed that "at least" we get to see new territory, ORLAIS.

I wonder how the dialogue will work. will Leliana be silent or will she respond back, Mass Effect-like?
Her VA recorded dialogue for this so I'm going to assume it'll be similar to that of Mass Effect, you pick a line and it'll be voiced. Down side to that though is I doubt we'll see much in the way of choices/dialogue since they wouldn't have dropped all that much to make this.

I am also expecting the PS3 version to come out at the same as the others again like DC did, and so BioWare knows how long cert takes.
I am expecting coversations to probably be like Morrigan in the Fade, you pick how you want to approach the situation and then the lines come out in Leliana's own way.
But I could be horribly wrong.
