You want to talk about ignorance and mistakes? Don't go there.

As i recall your country bombarded mine '99.

People i love died.

And still i'm open-minded, i really try hard not to judge anyone.

Guess i was wrong.

Life is not a game sweetie.

Way you treat people only shows how mature and bright you are.

Deal with it, it happened eleven years ago. People die all the time. No one gives two ****s. Life kicks everything out of you early, get used to it. Or commit suicide. It if it effected you that much, do something about it join the peace core or something.

Slidell, that's a horrible thing to say. I want to see you loosing your friends and/or family and stay a normal person. Yes people die, but we don't have to like it or put up with it.

It seems to me  that many americans are lazy to learn another language other than English. For example,i can speak 3 different languages fluently and English is not among them.So lack of understanding, empathy + bunch of self-centered individuals is something that i just can't understand. It's  sad actually.Back to the subject, expansion packs sucks(DA Awakening )<_<

i know five languages, english is chief among them, and i'm 14. your argument has been rendered invalid.

i also a few programming languages, are we counting those?

Listen seronjo jedan, if you've never experienced something like that you've got no say in it. I live in a neighbouring country and have relatives there and I know what it was like. You really are one of those ignorant americans 90% of the world hates

English is not my mother tongue, and i make a lot of mistakes when i type fast......my mistake for the spelling error, let's not turn this into a forum war. The main reason i wrote this is because the increasing number of DLC. More are coming as they would tell the stories between ME2 and ME3 using DLC. If they spend all the time on a single expansion, they have the length to create a better story compare to DLC, customers are more likely to buy it rather than looking at 10 DLC packs and don't know which to choose. In my opinion it just doesn't make sense to make 10 DLC when you can create an expansion for everything.

Loria232 I am sorry to hear what happen to you. Please ignore the ignorant. Again I am sorry this bring back the old memories.

Well, I just saw an interview with Casey Hudson. He said overlord will not be the the last dlc. They will continue to tell the story via dlc until ME3. If none of this DLC ends up being an expansion, I have just one word for Bioware: Lame.

Personally, I'd rather have an expansion released a few months before the release of Mass Effect 3 instead of a few months after the release of Mass Effect 2 (Dragon Age shouldn't have done that...)

The former would help drum up interest in the Mass Effect trilogy just before the release of the final game.

Would Bioware consider releasing an expansion instead of 10 DLCs? DAO has awakening but ME2 only has DLC. I don't mind paying a bit more to get an expansion rather than a short DLC.....

We don't know yet if Bioware planed that.

From my point of view, it's more a matter of ressources:
Bioware is actualy actively working on many project at same times (ME3, DAO2, Kotor online) + the DLC for ME2 and DAO.

I'm not sure they got enough people working on DLC + Expansion.

If they keep the additional DLC for ME2 as good as Overlord, they won't need to realease and expansion, since the quality is good and the price for the time spent playing is near the same as an expansion pack.

The second reason, i doubt they will make one (may be the near futur will prove that i'm wrong), it's because if they make just a 10 hour (realy short expension) for ME2, then the plot will be more rich than the main plot of the game.
The main game is only a few mission and a few hour, most of the game is mission not related to the main plot.

So, an expansion would make look the main plot of ME2 more stupid than it is for now.
And if they want to add new mission (related or not to the main plot), the DLC is perfect for that purpuse..

Also to further defend America in this hell hole the reason why many of us do not know multiple languages is due to GEOGRAPHY.

The US is a massive stretch of land that has Spanish speaking to the South and more English and French to the North. What are the likely languages for us to know? Hey, thats right Spanish, French and English. Because that is what we are in contact with.

If the US was like Europe with a large diversification of major languages then you could bet our population would be able to speak more languages. But its not. We have massive stretches of plains where people only need to speak one language because there really is only one language. You'll find that the majority of people in many countries do not travel far outside of a small stretch of land. America is no different. Many stay in the same county from the day they are born to their death.

The only reason they offer micro dlc instead of an expansion is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. That is a fact. I hate micro, take out, trivial, I'll have that to go Mcdlc. Why? I want more than 2 hrs of gameplay for my purchase. INSANE! I know its crazy, I said it. More than two hours. Who cares about drumming up interest? That's the job of their pr department. I care more about Bioware delivering a quality game experience.

Well I will say that their DLC packs so far (Kasumi and Overlord) are pretty dense compared to normal missions in the game.  But are still over priced.

7 bucks for Overlord, while it does have quite a bit more gameplay elements than standard ME 2 (exploration, platforming, puzzles).  Compared to like Point lookout which is 10 bucks ehhhh (although then again you could say the same for Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta as PL and The Pitt are the anomolies)

So game developers don't make expansions to turn out extra profit?

Well, we still have the Liara DLC to hope for. And I can honestly say that I'm surprised this thread has turned into a grammar war between Americans and....everyone else. Who the hell cares if somebody doesn't know a language fluently or not? As long as their point gets across, what's it matter? And Onyx Jaguar, thank you for injecting TRUTH into this "debate".
