This discussion has nothing to do with E3 just so everyone is clear. What do you think bioware could do with the technology of Kinectics and impliment it into their games. Think of the possiblities of Mass Effect and Dragon age. I think an old school title like Jade Empire would be great for this new Technology.

If your mouth isn't watering at this idea your not seeing the possibility here.

How would you play Dragon Age with motion control? Pretending to wield a sword in the air? No thanks, that's great for other games but not DA.

As for ME... What, putting your hand up in the air pretending it's a gun?

...aha. Ha. Hehehehe. Hahahaha. HAHAHAHAHA.

But seriously, keep your idiotic 'hey look at me I look like an imbecile' full-body motion control EyeToy 2.0 out of my Mass Effect.

This requires facial recognition software that is not what Kinect is about (although it includes it)

The technology is available for pcs already, and would be a great addition to rpg character making imo.

Yes it would be a great addition, and EA has been doing this with their sports titles adding it to some of their RPG properties is logical.

Not enough control to make an RPG. Sad, because biotics could be really cool with Kinect.

Nah... What were you envisioning out of curiosity Mr. OP? The integration of mic controls is still a fad. *remembers awkwardness of "Hey You, Pikachu!" shivers*

You mean you don't have an awesome beard in real life?

I do have a magnificent beard, but it is not of the quality that is my Avatar. I want to see that beard on my face for the ultimately win.

It's still a fad until someone does something great with it, I'm not saying Kinect will definitely do that, but it's been a lot of years since "Hey You, Pikachu!".

Hmm, thinking about it, the only good thing that Kinect will bring to BW games is to make the mods better (such as the Morrigan slap mod)

^ And I want technology that will allow me to assimilate my dream woman from video game form to real life so I may marry her, but we can't all get what we want now can we.

Remember Silly is the first step to cool. If bioware comes up for a good use for the product why not use it. I not talking about it being used 100% of the time here but think about all the mini games in Mass Effect 1&2 and think how those could be improved with the Kinect.
