I mean, it's not a matter of life and death, and I'm already happy with my character. But still, I enjoy tinkering around with her, and would like to know what I'm missing. Anyone who goes out of their way to help me is wonderful and I hope that my thanks is enough to show my graditude. Thanks again everyone.

Hello, I'm pretty new around here and rather shy about asking. But recently I downloaded the Face Replacement mod for my Elf character Kestrel, so that I could update her face. But for some reason when I downloaded it, it just didn't work. I redownloaded it, and still got nothing. So someone suggested that I get a program called Python to make the file come up, and when I did that, nothing happened whatsoever. Am I missing something important that let's this program come up? Or am I just totally stupid and missed something so easy that I'll slap myself in the head when I figure it out.

Face Replacer comes as a .zip file. From it you can extract the DAFaceReplacer110.py and a readme. When you've installed Python then the script should give you a pop-up when you click on it.
The modder said you need Python 2.6.
python.org/download/
# Python 2.6.5 Windows installer
# Python 2.6.5 Windows X86-64 installer (for Windows Vista 64bit, Windows 7 64bit)
That's everything I had to do. No problems. Did you download the wrong version? Or maybe the window for selecting the source and destination files remains hidden in your task bar?

You need to go to the Dragon Age Nexus website. You'll find it there.
