I installed Overlord before and after the patch and I see the email about the mission and travel to the system and go to land on the planet and when I click land the planet description, name of the planet, and the land button stay but the screen turns black and you can hear the loading screen heart beat beating but it never loads just sits there with the heart beating on. I've deleted the folder in DLC folder and reinstalled it, both before and after downloading the new patch 1.02 or whatever it is, still the same problem. It should be noted that I never got the hammer head DLC, that is installed but I never got the email about the mission and the system isn't in the galaxy map. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

I was able to start the Overlord missions without acquiring the Hammerhead first, so that's not the problem. Have you updated your audio and video drivers?

I am having the same problem. Have tried reinstalling, it did not help.

Bumping this because it's rediculous to charge people for DLC which they can't play. Also have the same issue, across multiple characters even after reinstalling DLC.

other DLC work fine in may pc, but this one don´t. when i click on "Land" the game freeze

I don't understand. This is the only time Mass effect 2 freezes for me.

If you keep restarting the game it does seem it weill eventually let you do it, try playing through the launcher if you usually use a shortcut.



Worked for me but not a perfect solution.

Hey people BIG BUMP!!!

Maybe this is illegal,but what the heck,I paid the game already,ANYWAY,i downloaded mass effect 2 patch and crack from vitality,replaced the icon,and game WORKS!!!!!!

I can't believe it!So many hours,well DAYS,and finally get it work.I'm just telling what helped me,nothing else.

eemir is right, using the not so legal .exe the DLC will works....really don't kno why but hey i0ve already paid for it!
