Since Leliana gets a prequel DLC... how about Alistair's first six months as a grey warden? Now THAT is a DLC I would sell my family for. Just thought I'd put it out there. Imagine. Duncan AND Alistair... Mmmm? Duncan as a playable character. MMMMM. Fun and games for all.

If he gets knocked out in battle the universe will explode.

I would agree with you. But you know that if Bioware put the other Wardens in it that all die in the opening of Origins people will fall in love with them. Then they will all yell for Bioware to make new DLC so that their fav new Warden somehow survived Loghain’s betrayal and joins you in Origins. Hell people are still trying to convince themselves that Duncan is still alive.

Nah. Alistair deserves a DLC more than Morrigan... But Loghain, Sten, and Zevran would be much more interesting.

Loghain, because well, Maric.

Sten, because we'd get to see the Qunari Homelands.

Zevran, because we'd get to see Antiva.

Would love to get an Alistair DLC! I remember Allistair telling about being drunk with the rest of the Wardens. Now that should be fun to see!

Though a DLC what happens with the Wardens after Awakening would be highly appreciated as well. Until then I stick to stories hehe.

All characters should have their own DLC if Leliana is getting hers. Fair is fair Image IPB

Now I'm a hopeless Alistair fangirl, so my reasoning is really obvious to see, but I think Duncan is probably the most awesome of the people who die at Ostagar. I have no desire to see a "Cailan fixes his hair" DLC. But the good thing about a pre-Ostagar DLC with Duncan and Alistair would be having maybe Daveth and Jory getting recruited - I always thought Daveth deserved more :). Have it with Duncan as the main character and Alistair as a companion... the "recruitment" drive before the blight :).

..No offence, but really? We already know loads on Alistair's past as he doesn't really hold much back from a character he bonds well with. Plus it would only be more fighting darkspawn.. Nothing really new and exciting as it is an old character fighting old enemies.

Loghain would be much better, as you would see him become a hero, and then his steady downfall into what we see in the game.

Zevran (Not my favorite character, not by far) would be a good choice aswell, we would see another part of the world and be apart of the famous assassin's guild The Crows.

And then finally Sten, I mean come on! We would see more of his past, more of the fighting as they invade countries.

But that is just my opinion...

&Turran, yeah all of those choices are pretty awesome too. In my opinion they should make a DLC for all the other characters, that way everyone is happy and we get to see how peoples lifes were before their adventure with the grey warden :)

I agree with Turran. Alistair's past really doesn't make for good gameplay. We know how he was recruited and that Duncan kept him out of the fighting.

Leliana, Zevran, Sten, Loghain, even Shale as a dwarf, Riordan, Duncan ... now there's a lot to show ...

xHezz90, you're right, making a DLC for each character would please the entire crowd, I just hope that each one doesn't cost a lot, and making all of them won't decrease how good the gameplay is.

And klarabella, Shale's past would be amazing! Didn't think of her past at all.

I didn't think of Shale's past before I wrote it down either. ^^

Thought about Alistair's past a bit and a DLC that could work would be his recruitment ... a bit like the Proving you can do in the dwarf noble origin, you know? And in the end you can see a very pissed Chantry official. It would be a very small DLC, not so much about story-telling, simply kicking ass arena-style (with some scripted twists).

I'd still prefer other companions. ^_^

Alistar DLC? Why not... but only if you have the option to get rid of him once and forever

You already have this option in Origins and in Darkspawn Chronicles. :P

I'd be more interested to see what happens to Alistair after Awakening.

The big issue with having campaign NPCs in DLCs, potentially playable ones, is that it limits what the developers can do; remember that they need to fit into the main game, and playing Alistair as a jerk to everyone just doesn't make much sense given his character. Continuity should be king in an RPG.

Seconded.
