Duncan as a playable character. MMMMM. Fun and games for all.
If he gets knocked out in battle the universe will explode.

Loghain, because well, Maric.
Sten, because we'd get to see the Qunari Homelands.
Zevran, because we'd get to see Antiva.

Though a DLC what happens with the Wardens after Awakening would be highly appreciated as well. Until then I stick to stories hehe.

All characters should have their own DLC if Leliana is getting hers. Fair is fair

Loghain would be much better, as you would see him become a hero, and then his steady downfall into what we see in the game.
Zevran (Not my favorite character, not by far) would be a good choice aswell, we would see another part of the world and be apart of the famous assassin's guild The Crows.
And then finally Sten, I mean come on! We would see more of his past, more of the fighting as they invade countries.
But that is just my opinion...

Leliana, Zevran, Sten, Loghain, even Shale as a dwarf, Riordan, Duncan ... now there's a lot to show ...

And klarabella, Shale's past would be amazing! Didn't think of her past at all.

Thought about Alistair's past a bit and a DLC that could work would be his recruitment ... a bit like the Proving you can do in the dwarf noble origin, you know? And in the end you can see a very pissed Chantry official. It would be a very small DLC, not so much about story-telling, simply kicking ass arena-style (with some scripted twists).
I'd still prefer other companions.

You already have this option in Origins and in Darkspawn Chronicles.nestorprado wrote...
Alistar DLC? Why not... but only if you have the option to get rid of him once and forever

The big issue with having campaign NPCs in DLCs, potentially playable ones, is that it limits what the developers can do; remember that they need to fit into the main game, and playing Alistair as a jerk to everyone just doesn't make much sense given his character. Continuity should be king in an RPG.

I'd be more interested to see what happens to Alistair after Awakening.

Seconded.
