Up front, I'll apologize for my lack of modding/scripting/programming knowledge... it was never my strong suit. Anyway, I'm not exactly creating a new mod, just trying to modify my DA: O game with mods that I'm sure a good number of you created. What I need information on is character face morph mods. Specifically, the names of the files for character head/face/hair/hair color/etc. for NPC and Companion characters. I have installed the Morrigan face morph from the Dragon Age Redesigned mod, but I was wondering what files I would need to replace (and the file names) for all the other companion characters and certain NPCs in the game. Is there a folder in the main Dragon Age program folder that has all these files? Is there a list somewhere that someone genrously provided these file names and indicate which character they go to? And if the character (Companion or NPC) is going to have a special hair mod, say from the More Hairstyles mod, or different eye color/texture from the Vibrant Colors mod, how would I go about doing that?

In toolset, open Program Files\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\data\\face.erf - this is where all core face morphs can be found. I think pretty much all of your "how" questions are answered by one page...

Hmm... I can't check right now, but I reckon you'd only find the processed mor files in face.erf and not the source mrh. And those are what you'll need if you wish to modify the original morphs.
If you need those sources files, they're available on the core resources project page.

oh, right - what phaenan said
i tended to completely do faces from scratch whenever i replaced, but indeed modifying them was what you asked.
