Okay, dumb thread here O_O
Buuuuut... What's good-looking and effective armor for male soldier shepherd? I'm on level 20 and i'm still in my onyx I stuff. I want it to have the N-7 logo cause it's just sort of iconic, isn't it? But, you know, I dunno...
Also, is there a big benefit to heavy armour? Because I think it looks really ugly.

I think your best bet to find the N7 logo armor is checking the C-Seq Requisition officer. I believe I saw him the majority of the time with Onyx armor in stock.

the only armor with the N7 logo is the Onyx armor, so you will have the sucky armor. but, i cant tell the difference witht the stats, so it shouldnt matter too much.

Well Onyx is kind of on the low end as far as DR and shields go. As far as good looking that's kind of opinion. Here is a link the the ME wiki armor page. http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Armor

There are various links from there with stats and pictures. You can look and decide what kind you like. Personally I'm a function over appearance kind of guy.  I usually grab some scorpion iv from the Normandy supply guy and then pick up colossus when I can.  Oh and I also keep a set of Devlon Industries armor.  It lowers effect of enviromental hazards one level.

If you're a Soldier, I recommend using the heavy version of the Onyx/N7 armor (called Onyx X), since you want an armor with an N7 symbol on it. It's not a bad armor at all, and it looks really good on Male Shepard. The only problem though, is that you are more likely to get it on later playthrough's once you've leveled up a little.You can then find it at the C-Sec store with the turian officer at a fairly reasonable price.
