I am about to go into knothill and i was curious if having oghren in the team increase or decrese his approval rating..the reason i ask is cause i read up that you can get some approval with him if you have him in your team when you get to an anvil he talks about branka..

You can get a possible +8 approval with him. This especially helps with the bug that messes with his approval gain from gifts. I usually have him around anyway as my tank, as I usually recruit Justice last. He doesn't disapprove if you don't bring him; you'd only lose approval with certain dialogue choices when clicking on the anvil.
