[Terminus Echoes]

 I've noticed many people have avatars not listed in the default dozen or so avatars that are given to you. The are Mass Effect/Dragon Age related, so how do I get these?

Sorry, I'm relatively new to this site.

if you download the Dragon Age Character Creator and create a character, then save it, it will add the character info you your My Docs/Bioware folder...including a portrait of your character called name_portrait, now if you create your new avatar (same dimensions and size), replace the portrait, set it to read only, then go back into the creator and upload your character to this site, after a while the character portrait shoulod be available under the photo section, only it should have the picture you replaced it with

Alright, thanks! I'll try this out. You think that because so many people do this, they'd just make custom avatars a feature on the site...

Technically they don't have to comment - the FAQ says it's not permitted to have your own photos as avatars. For now, however, it seems the Devs are letting it slide.
