A Qunari borrdmother. If this thing gives births to ogres, imagine how big it is.
After seeing the mother, it seems clear that the Origin Broodmothers are the smallest ones.
Do it Bioware.
You know what would be an epic boss fight?

Oooh, maybe every 20% HP she could squat out an elite Ogre too! I'm in!

Well, the origin Broodmother was a dwarf so that makes sense.

An Origin broodmother would be small in comparison

That would be epic.
I have long wondered how ogres/Qunari broodmothers are even made. I could honestly see a Qunari willing her own heart to stop rather than turning. I know, a corrupted Qunari is very rare, but I have trouble imagining a circumstance where it could happen at all.

I don't think so, though being separated from the old god's call kind of...you know...bats the purpose of the corruption.

I don't think so
I'm too scared of Qunari to dare say that there's anything they CAN'T do.
I could see Sten just deciding to drop dead if it were the necessary thing to do.

In a sense, yes.
I can't remember the clinical term, but they talk about it a lot with terminal patients and those suffering from crippling depression or mourning, and how they are basically able to just 'shut off'.
The problem as it pertains to the BM an Qunari is the transformation seems to actually drug the victims. Hespith 'fought' it by going completely mental and reciting personal mantras in an attempt to avoid reality and stay sane. I would think most would be in such shock and confusion that they wouldn't realize just how screwed they really were until it was too late.
