So long story short: I started playing the 360 version at a friend's house and got over 30 hours of gameplay. I transferred my game saves to a USB and brought them to my own 360. My friend had downloaded a lot of extra content and now I'm all caught up except for one. When I try to resume my game is says I still need BlightBlood for Origins and Awakening. Is there anyway I can buy Blightblood so I can resume my game?  Thank you for your time.

Blightblood is the reward for completing the darkspawn chronicles dlc. So yes you can buy it. Be warned though the combat has an EXTREMELY annoying bug where if you hit an enemy it won't register the damage for several hits than does all the damage at once.

No I believe he means that if you buy the whole "mission", the sword will be included as part of it. You need to buy "Darkspawn Chronicles" in order to have all the right items for your saves to load.

If you purchase and download Darkspawn Chronicles to your box, then you can load a save that's marked as requiring it. You don't purchase the sword separately, though.

Any save file that contains downloadable content (DLC) requires two things to load on your box: (1) the DLC data and (2) authorization from an offline license or an active connection to the DA servers. Downloading from the DAO content manager should get you an offline license, satisfying both requirements.
