Who would you be? What would you be?  What would your 3 skills and 1 loyalty skill be?  What is your "story"? And what will your "Loyalty mission" be about? Also how would you react to each crewmember? What is your "squad-banter?" And where do they take place?  Will you have a cutscene with a crewmember like with Tali and Legion? What will you say to Commander Shepard? What will you two talk about?  Are you "Romanceable?"

If you are having a hard time. Try using my template.

"Ensign Rookie"
Human
Male
21 y.o.

Recruited on Cerberus Pluto space station
- Base is over-run with Husks. After meeting Ensign Rookie, the party is split up due to a power-out and a hole in the wall that leads to the vacuum of space. Commander Shepard must SOLO his way back to the launch pad with Ensign Rookie guiding him/her via communications. At some point, Shepard and Ensign Rookie will team up to find the other 2 squad mates. Both of which are at the Docking Bay defending the position(Think Deadspace)
Loyalty mission
-Kill a female Quarian spy/mercenary that framed him for lost weapons shipments and a murder of a superior officer

Weapons:
Assault Rifle
Dual Pistols  (basically faster fire-rate when Ensign Rookie is using Pistol)

Skills:
Overload
Incendiary Ammo
(Need +2 Overload)
Rogue Militant ( +shield regen/+Weapon Damage/+small health)
-Specialize to
Rogue Specialist (+30% shield Regen/+50% Weapon Damage)
Rogue Trooper (+40% shield Regen/+30% Weapon Damage)
Loyalty Skill: Killer Instinct: Weapons do extra damage for 10 seconds. 10 second cooldown.
-Specializations
Heightened Killer Instinct: 50% weapon damage, shields recharge 10% faster
Tempered Killer Instinct: 37.50% weapon damage, take 20% less health damage

Location On Normandy:
Kitchen: Not eating, just chatting up the crew.
Easter Egg Banter:
"So, who do you think would win in a fight? Kasumi or Thane?"
"--Then Zaeed says, 'It turns out she was a nun!' "
"Ever been down to Engineering? That Quarian, Tali. Man oh man, them hips could sink ships."
"One Time, me and Commander Shepard was down at the Dark Star on the Citadel..He drank Ryncol! Ryncol! I know right! And the man's/And she's still alive!"
"Why did it have to be 'Legion'? Why not something less cliche like-like-I dunno, like 'Flippy' or whatever?"
"Have any of you read those nasty Extranet story transcripts some of Shepard's fans write about him/her?"

Combat dialogue:
"Yippy-ka-yay!"
"Bang, bang, bang-bang-bang!"
"Learn to die!"
"Sit down!"
"It's just been revoked!"

Targetting enemy:
"Enemy spotted."
"Target in sight"
"Firing!"

Moving:
"Covering!"
"Gotcha."
"Roger that"

Death:
"Aaaaaaaaaaaarrgghh--!"

"Change the Gameplay level!"
"Ugh! Argh! *Gurgling*"

Appearance:
"M4" Helmet with darkened visor.  (color blue swish logo) (Never see face)
Aegis Vest
Asymetric Defense layer Shoulder pads
Heavy Damping Gauntlets
"M4" Grieves
Armor color: Black with secondary Blue. No Pattern.

Story:
-Ensign Rookie is a Spacer. Most of his life was spent with living with one babysitter after another. His parents were never around since they were Alliance soldiers. Something about hunting down a high-profile Mercenary.
 - He was very neglected, even when the two parents were on shore leave.  When he was old enough to join the Alliance, he did in hopes of being around his parents more. Unfortunately, they are N7 and he is only M4. His qualifications aren't high enough to join them on missions.
 - He soon made friends with a female Quarian who approached him in a bar one time. The two became close. Unfortunately, she was a hired help from a Mercenary gang.
 - Later with the help of Shepard, she will either get killed by Rookie, or she will tell Rookie that she was doing it for her pilgrimage and to keep the Flotilla from being attacked. (Rookie will then tell her that they are likely just a small nobody band of thugs and to report to C-Sec).
 - Prior to all that, Rookie's parents "disown" him when they find out about the aligations, and afterwards, choose to keep it that way regardless of the resolution since it is more "convenient" for them.

Special Normandy Cutscene:
It turns out Zaeed was the Mercenary his parent's have been after for all those years.
Renegade ending:  Zaeed kills Ensign Rookie
Paragon ending:  Nobody dies and the two become best friends
Non-paragon/renegade ending:  Ensign Rookie & Zaeed are no longer loyal

With a high enough Renegade/Paragon, Ensign Rookie is romanceable for Female Shepard only.

Alternative Appearance: The Terminus Armor

Come on, it takes more than six minutes to make tumbleweeds! Anyway...
-----------------------------
I would be an impatient sniper who got laid off from C-Sec for being lazy (go figure.) I would be human, of course.

I would have the talents "Incinerate," "Cryo Blast," and "Security Officer" (which evolves into "Security Captain" or "Elite Officer" and grants bonuses to tech damage and sniper damage, where the "Security Captain" adds these bonuses to the squad instead of upgrading the base bonuses.)

Before I agree to a suicide mission, I would ask Shepard to help me take out a crime boss on the Citadel. I was orignially hired to do this myself, but I failed and he got away. Because of this, I got fired and good people died, possibly including someone I knew. My story will ultimately culminate in my loyalty mission, where Shepard helps me take out the crime gang. My loyalty power will be "Tactical Camoflage," which will be similar to "Tactical Cloak" for infiltrators. It would prevent enemies from firing at me for several seconds, allowing 1-2 sniper shots before I uncloaked. It would evolve into "Advanced Camoflage" (more time hidden, allowing more shots) or "Assassin Camoflage" (added damage while cloaked.)
------------------------------

More to come when I finish thinking about it. This is actually kind of fun.

Sam Aren
Human
Male
~25 years (earth years)

Recruitment
Found in the Citadel Wards, killing time. If he finds out that Shepard is looking for recruits, he becomes interested. He doesn't like the idea of a suicide mission, but he decides to consider it if Shepard helps him find a crime boss that he was originally assigned to expose.

Weapons
Sniper Rifle
Pistol

Talents
- Incinerate
- Cryo Blast (2 ranks in Incinerate)
- Security Officer (improves Tech and Sniper rifle damage)
   - Elite Guard (Dramatic improvement of bonuses)
   - Guard Captain (Grants rank 3 bonuses to the whole squad, minus the Health bonus)
- Loyalty Power: Tactical Camoflage (Tactical cloak, deactivates when time expires, not when a shot is fired)
   - Advanced Camoflage (longer cloaked time)
   - Assassin's Cloak (sneak attack damage)

Appearance
- Mostly generic human C-Sec armor
- Loyalty outfit: Alliance or Cerberus symbol with an appropriately colored armor set
- Full helmet and hardsuit during dangerous missions (deep space, migrant fleet)

Normandy Post
Sam hangs out in the mess hall, mostly watching other people talk.

Story/Loyalty Mission
Sam was hired to track down a crime boss, but slipped up and the boss got away. Since then, people have ended up dead because of the boss's gang. Sam claims that he was laid off, but he really quit out of guilt. He was too lazy to try to find the crime boss again, but is inspired by Shepard's focus. Sam uses the Normandy's extranet connection to dig up leads, and approaches Shepard with the crime lord's location. Shepard and Sam take part in a covert op/infiltration/assault on the crime gang, and defeat the boss. If the boss gets away, Sam doesn't gain loyalty benefits. During the End Run, Sam is able to lead the first fire team successfully.

Other Normandy Conversations
Sam will remark on each new recruit and their loyalty missions. If Shepard is in a romance with another character, Sam hears about it. He is mostly aloof in conversation, dodging questions after his loyalty mission. There is a "teaser" romance for female Shepard, but he effectively states that he's not interested. He suggests destroying the base in the (removed) conversation involving what to do with the Collectors. Either way, he is indifferent to Shepard's decision. After the endgame Sam finally opens up, and will tell Shepard about his C-Sec times and why he left.

Unique Scenes
- Once both Garrus and Sam are recruited, entering the crew deck will have a chance of initiating a conversation between Garrus and Sam about C-Sec in the mess hall. Garrus remarks on the similarities and differences of their abandonment of C-Sec.
- If Shepard is female or is in a romance with someone other than Jack, she may show up in the mess hall to joke about being pirates with Sam, creating anxiety among the Cerberus crew if they are present.

More? Maybe later, I need a break.

Human VigilantyYears of traking criminals outside of the law has given James exceptional combat experience alowing him to use weapons more efficiently and get the most out of his shield generator(increases shield and weapon strength)
Electrotool (loyalty power) originally designed as a repair tool James modified his Electrotool to launch a massive bolt of electricity that can cause serious damage to synthetics and stun organics.

Backstory
James was on Mindoir during the time of the slave raid learning to be a mechanic(If shepard had the colonist backround then James will explain that he had seen you a few times but never really met you). James survived when he was shot and left for dead by the slavers. after the slavers had left James found a damaged ship, repaired it, and took it off planet. for the next few years James hunted down those involved in the raid and killed them. During one of his missions he got comprimised by a "friend" and in his escape attempt several innocents were killed. James was then Arrested for the deaths of those innocents and served several years in Jail before being offered freelance work with the Alliance in exchange for freedom.

Personality
James is increadibly cynical and sarchastic. he has a high tolerance of aliens as well as a profound Hatred for cerberus which is not explained until his loyalty mission

Appearence
has medium length Brown hair and a thick stubble beard
Wears a grey long sleeve T-shirt with a millitary issue armoured vest and Dark blue pants
(loyalty outfit) clothing is changed to Nighttime camo

Recruitment mission
Mission is introduced when Shepard meets with Anderson who will tell Shepard after the meeting with the councle that while the Alliance can't officially help he knows somebody who can and tells shepard where he can Find James. Shepard arrives at the Planet James is at and EDI picks up large amounts of activity in a suposedly uninhabited part of the planet. Shepard travles to that location and discovers a large Pirate base where a Fire fight can be heard from inside the base. After fighting through the Base Shepard emerges into a large cargo bay where Pirates have James pinned down. after clearing the room James will thank Shepard(If Shepard has the colonist backround James will recognize Shepard) and tell him that he is too injured to finish his job and asks shepard to plant explosives to destroy the base. At this point shepard can choose to leave a squad member behind to help James defend himself or just go straight to the mission. shepard must then plant the charges and return Before James is overwhelmed and escape before the base is destroyed. afterwards James agrees to serve with Shepard out of gratitude for being rescued despite his hatred of cerberus.

location on ship
In the Garage examaning the shuttle

Loyalty mission
James aproaches shepard saying that he recieved a tipoff on the location of the person who landed him in jail. as they take the shuttle to location James explains to Shepard why he hates cerberus so much. he reveals that on the mission that got him arrested he had teamed up with an old friend who worked for cerberus. after his friend got him inside James sees his target rounding up humans as slaves. as he prepared to kill the slaver he discovers cerberus hired him to round up test subjects. before James could make the kill the slaver He got captured. after a few days of  torture he escaped. during the escape he discovered that his friend had set him up and killed several people to frame him. When Shepard and James arrive at the location they find the area well guarded by eclipse mercs and fight their way to Jameses "friend" the loyalty mission has three possible endings, the paragon option where Shepard convinces James to make arrest the man in the hopes of clearing James name, the neutral ending where James kills his former friend and the renegade ending where Shepard Brutaly Kills the former friend himself.

 Unique Dialogue
(after Tali is recruited) "I was up in engneering the other day and saw you got a quarian engineer. I always liked the Quarians, I traveled with one for a while back before I was with the alliance. She was pretty damn smart, funny too. We had a thing going on for awhile but it didn't work out in the end"
(if collecter bas is destroyed) "man Shepard, I had my doubts but you really pulled through! I'll bet the Illusive Man was pissed too. you know you didn't have to stick it to cerberus just to Impress me right? I'll buy you a drink next time we have shore leave.
(If collecter base was saved) "Just so you know, I'm still with ya but you do realise that you just gave a xenophobic terrorist a reaper baby maker right? you better have a damn good backup plan. I've seen how cerberus operates and their "research" has a big tendency to explode in their face. good human resource department though

EDIT: Edited to make story a little bit more fluid and added dialogue.

R.A.
Human Male (32 years old)

Recruitment
Located on his organization's flagship, Silent Sophistication, Cerberus has arranged a meeting with him aboard it in hopes that will lend his tech expertise and resources to Shepard's mission of stopping the Collectors and the Reapers. However, as he meets Shepard, the meeting goes awry when the crew turn on him due to being ordered by the Shadow Broker to capture Shepard and remove him from command. The coup is nearly successful, but Shepard's crew, R.A. and the Normandy escape the Shadow Broker's trap and R.A. joins up with Shepard.

Weapons
Sniper Rifle
Shotgun

Talents
- Warp
- Combat Drone (2 ranks in Warp)
- Arkanian (Improves Squad Power Damage and Shields)
   - Arkanian Archon (Improves upon bonuses and adds a bonus to Squad Power Cooldown)
   - Arkanian Architect (Improves upon bonuses and adds a bonus to Squad Power Duration)
- Loyalty Power:  Micro-Shot
(Combining biotics and tech, R.A. uses his omnitool to minifacture metal slugs which are then accelerated by a biotic field)
   - Hammerhead Shot(Adds significant force and adds a multiplier against armor and health)
   - Phasic Shot(Damage bypasses Shields and synthetics)
Appearance
- Sentry Interface with red holograms with a human variant of Serrice Council Phantom Armor.
- Loyalty outfit: Archon Visor using a silver interface with a heavy variation of Kassa Fabrication Colossus Armor
- During dangerous missions, will have the normal appearance but replacing the visors with a quarian-styled N7 helmet.

Normandy Post
Located in the Cargo Bay, R.A. tinkers with the various items in the Normandy and conducts research concerning new tech.

Story/Loyalty Mission
Part of a social experiment in the Serrice Council, R.A. has always grown up with technology and its advances. After spending most of his life under his mysterious benefactors, he branched out and founded the Arkanians to find and adapt ancient and lost technology to today's. While the Arkanians became successful in integrating the memory imprinting technology from the Prothean Beacons into their own databases, the Shadow Broker took notice of them and hired them to help preserve sensitive information using their new development in exchange for Collector tech. When R.A. was contacted by Cerberus and met with Shepard, the Shadow Broker took advantage of this meeting and convinced the Arkanians to betray their leader and capture Shepard in exchange for Collector technology.

After being betrayed by his own organization, R.A. finally finds the next location of the Silent Sophistication, he asks Shepard to help take down his own organization by launching an assault on the flagship to purge his organization of the Shadow Broker's agents. Shepard can either convince R.A. to disable the flagship without killing the Arkanians, or go on a full out assault to destroy the Silent Sophistication and put the Arkanians to rest. If the Arkanians are saved and the ship is only disabled, they will begin developing new ship technology to try and help Shepard against the Reapers (ME3 Consequences). If the Silent Sophistication is destroyed, R.A. will cut current resource costs and will personally undertake all the work on the Normandy to take his mind off his loss.

Combat Dialouge
"Engaging hostilities."
"I really should come up with a name for this thing."(Casting Combat Drone)
"Deploying Drone."(Casting Combat Drone)
"Catch."(Casting Warp)
"Activating Omni-tool."(Micro-Shot)

Moving
"Cover me."
"Focus firing target."
"Closing ranks."

Death
"New plan, disobey suicidal orders."
"I'll help by giving dirty looks."
"Down I go."

Other
Normandy Conversations
Will notice the addition of new Squad Mates and comment on missions afterwards. Especially acquainted with Mordin, Tali, and Legion. Becomes suspicious of Kasumi after her loyalty mission is completed. Interested in Jack because of all the biotic enhancements that Cerberus put into her.

Unique Scenes
- After recruiting Mordin, Tali, or Legion, he comments that their capabilities in tech are interesting and wonders if they'd be interested in Arkanian work.
- When presented with the decision to use or destroy the Collector base, R.A. will comment that its advantages are useful short-term, but it's long-term nature may be more sinister than expected.
- If the base is destroyed - "Good job on destroying that base, haven't seen an explosion like that in quite a bit. Shame we didn't have more time to check out all the salvage though, most of it looked ancient."
- If base is preserved - "Hopefully the Illusive Man knows what he's getting into with that base. Because I don't recall hearing about "successful" Cerberus experiments. Uh, aside from you of course."
- After both Kasumi's and R.A's loyalty missions are done, they will have a confrontation where R.A. recognizes Kasumi's flashbang grenades as an early prototype created by the Arkanians. Will accuse Kasumi of stealing and leaking the grenade's anti-tech/biotic developments and causing his organization harm. Shepard can side with one or the other, or convince them both to stop fighting and retain both their loyalties.
- If Shepard is female or is in a romance with
someone other than Jack, Jack becomes more trusting in R.A. and eventually comes to him to find a way to help her fight the brain decay that resulted from Cerberus experiments.
- If taken to meet Liara on Illium, R.A. will note that the Shadow Broker tends to ****** off a lot of people that will come after them.

Blasto, male Hanar of equivalent age to Shepard

Recruited at the galaxy premiere of Blasto the Jellyfish Stings, where Blasto is actually not attending as the subject of said movie so much as he's thwarting a plot to blow up a theater full of important Illium executives and politicians. Fight the Eclipse mercs all throughout the backstage and underground facilities while trying to disarm various explosive devices.

Gaining Blasto's loyalty requires reacquainting Blasto with the love of his life that got away. This could end poorly, sending Blasto to the Port Observation deck for nights of endless drinking. Or it could end well, with Blasto and the lost love ending on decent terms.

Usually resides in the Normandy's water tank system, but Shepard is able to call him up for a discussion by hitting the "feed fish" button on the aquarium. After the loyalty mission, it might only be possible for Blasto to be found at the bar.

Normandy discussions include the stark contrast between how Thane describes the Hanar and how Blasto actually acts. For every female love interest that goes unromanced, Blasto will be the automatic paramour. Zaeed suspects he's seen Blasto before and rubs at his neck uncomfortably.

If taken to the Citadel, all the stores will have "This one believes this store to be the best on the Citadel" playing when you enter. If taken to Tuchanka, a Krogan will approach Blasto demanding a duel. If taken to Omega, Aria will allude to a close personal relationship in their past.

Blasto's weapons are the pistol and SMG, which he can wield at the same time. Also has an electrical choke hold attack. Whenever he falls in combat, he sprawls out like a jellyfish gone splat.

EDIT:  Ugh, I'm trying to reformat this thing so it isn't so messy.

It's embarrassing to admit how much time I spent thinking about this, but it was a lot of fun.  Please someone read it and make my wasted time worth something.   I tried to think about who *I* would be in the ME universe, so I'm picturing her looking, sounding, and acting like me.  I'm actually quite proud of how much of myself I put into her.

Dr. Christina ‘Tina’ Fontaine
Human
Female
28 (Earth) years

General/Personality

She was born in New Orleans and was mostly raised on Earth.  As such she has a *slight* Southern accent.  Her
father died during the First Contact War, so her mother raised her.  As an undergrad she studied biomechanics,
xenobiology, and chemistry.  She attended medical school but decided to keep pursuing research instead of practicing medicine.  She tends to keep to herself but has a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor. At first, she’ll deflect Shepard’s romantic advances with humor.

Recruitment

Tina’s dossier states that she’s currently working on a space station in the Zelene system of the Crescent Nebula.  She is the head researcher of a science team hired by a wealthy asari to research bioweapons for
use against biotic abilities.  Malena intends to use this bioweapon to bring down Eclipse, which is what drew Tina to the project.  Malena’s intentions aren’t pure, however, since she intends to use this power to take over Eclipse and use them for her own ends.

Eclipse found out about the project.  When Shepard arrives, the space station is under attack and has been boarded by Eclipse operatives sent to kill Malena and destroy the station.  Shepard and his team fight their way through the station and find Tina attempting to salvage data from the labs.  Malena interrupts, certain that Tina sold her out to Eclipse, and attempts to kill her and Shepard’s team.

After Malena is defeated, Tina is wary about Shepard and Cerberus’s intentions.  Her decision to leave with them is made for her rather quickly, since Eclipse mercenaries had rigged the station to explode.  She makes a hasty escape with Shepard and agrees to join the team after hearing the full story.

Weapons
Submachine Gun
Heavy Pistol

Talents
- Overload
- Neural Shock (2 ranks in Overload)
- Expert Scientist (improves health, weapon damage, and power recharge time)
            - Expert Chemist
~ Tina’s combined knowledge of pharmaceuticals and tech has improved her power damage and      power recharge time
                       ~ Health 25%, Power Damage 25%, Power Recharge -18%
            - Expert Researcher
~ Tina’s independent research has greatly improved her shield strength
                        ~ Health 25%, Weapon Damage 15%, Shields 30%
- Loyalty Power: Anti-personnel Bio Agent
            - A synthetic virus activated via her omni-tool, it causes disorientation and nausea, weakening biotic Barriers while decreasing enemy weapon damage and accuracy

Appearance
- She wears something similar to Miranda’s loyalty outfit, except less catsuit-y and more like the light armor from ME1 (high-necked), with a short lab coat over it.  The outfit is gray and blue.
- Her loyalty outfit is basically the same, only black and blue.
- She has blond hair in a messy bun and blue eyes.
- In scenarios like the Collector Ship, she wears a helmet sort of like Tali’s without the hood.  The face part is clear instead of colored.

Normandy Post

- Inside the research lab, working at one of the tables across from Mordin

Story/Loyalty Mission

Tina approaches Shepard with some unsettling news—she suspects that one of her teammates, a salarian named Pik, stole the prototype of the bioweapon she had been working on and intended to sell it to Eclipse (or the highest bidder).  Tina believes Pik had been the one leaking information on the project, since he mysteriously disappeared shortly before the attack on Malena’s space station.  Pik had recently been seen in the black
markets on Omega.

While Tina initially believed her work would help bring down an evil organization, she has recently seen the danger of her research ending up in the wrong hands.  She begs Shepard to help her stop Pik before he can sell the prototype.

After asking around on Omega, they find out that Pik has scheduled a rendezvous with a local crime boss connected to the Blue Suns (who is interested in using the bioweapon to weaken their competition).

The rendezvous point is heavily guarded. Tina and Shep must initially bluff their way in by convincing the guards
they’re the prospective sellers.  This only works temporarily, however, as their guards hear on their radios that the
seller—Pik—has already arrived.  At that point, they have to fight their way through.  The crime boss dies, and Shep can choose to let Tina kill Pik or spare him.

She will take the prototype with them, determined to modify it to make it useable for combat without posing any threat to the galaxy at large.

- Male Shepards can romance her, so there’s romance dialogue.
- She will comment on all major story-line missions and Shepard’s ME1 romance (after Horizon or meeting Liara on Ilium) if s/he had one.
- Shepard can ask her about her research and her past relationships (she almost got married but her fiancé died on Eden Prime).
- She will have some harsh words for Shepard if he talks to her after bringing Legion on board but before activating him, though she later apologizes.

Unique Scenes
- If Garrus goes on her loyalty mission, they will chat a bit about Omega
- She will have several lines of dialogue throughout Mordin’s loyalty mission, wondering about the ethics of the genophage and her own work.
- She will have quite a bit to say if she goes on Mordin’s recruitment quest, about the nature of the plague on Omega
- On Samara’s recruitment mission, after meeting the Biotic God, she’ll comment that horrible acts like that are what made her want to help bring Eclipse down.

Ellis from Left 4 Dead 2, his banter would be all about the things that he and Keith did as well as what the other survivers from Left 4 Dead 2 were like.

Shepard would find him in a refugee camp with the remaining colonists that survived a zombie uprising on thier colony and his loyalty mission would be to go back to the colony to look for his missing family, which have been turned into all of the special infected from the left 4 dead games.

As for weapons, basically everything except heavy weapons.

Special powers would be a molatov cocktail, adrenaline shot and a health pack.

His class would be Chatty Zombie Apocalypse Surviver.

I'm surprised this is coming along rather nicely. It's interesting what concepts people can come up with in the ME universe.

Baron Tonberry

Spirit of Vengeance, Male

Weapons

Chef's Knife

Skills

Shield of Vengeance - creates an impenetrable barrier around Tonberry

It's Sharp - strikes a target with Chef's Knife for massive damage, which increases even further if the target has killed many people

Everyone's Grudge - sometimes inflicts a warp field upon an attacking target, effect depends on the number of people killed by the target

Bio: Baron Tonberry is the ultimate weapon against the Reapers, because each of them had killed billions of creatures.

I'd want to have some sort of Boba Fett bounty hunter thing going on.

Or be a citizen on some planet somewhere completely unaware of any circumstances going on living out my happy life.
