If you look at the patterns, the Dragon Age Origins DLC has been released every other month. It seems like the ME2 is following that same pattern, Kasumi was april, Overlord was June. So that would make the next one August. It could be possibly the Liara DLC that people have found source files for, or it could be another DLC. Either way, it looks like it will be August. What do you guys think?

Halo Reach has SPACE COMBAT! YAY!

...oh wait, did you mean think about the next DLC release?

In that case I think that it would make sense that they would keep up the two month schedule, but it could change depending on the size of the DLC. A smaller one could be released earlier, whereas a larger one could be pushed back past August.

I thought it always had space combat...

Well I don't know if they had that planned from the start, but as far as I know it was only just announced at E3. But lets not take this thread off topic.

Yes, a pack containing the Incisor rifle and some other goodies is going to be released in the near future and hopefully some more armor as well as appearance packs will be released to satisfy us until the next major dlc.

I think there should be a DLC released on August 4 and it should deal with the C-Sec auction of seized goods on Zakera Ward. Check out the Zakera Wards advertisements on level 26 for more information!

So I take it no ones interested in the Liara DLC? Even after the files? I hope it's either that, or another appearance pack. But instead of only 3 squaddies, the entire rest of the team gets new outfits.

I'd be fine with a Liara DLC if they completely revamp it so that it bears no relation to what we hear on those files.

I don't think the files are the entire DLC. That seems like a renegade ending, killing the Shadow Broker. Maybe there's a paragon ending where you don't kill him, and soften up Liara. She's pretty hardcore atm.

Screw Liara. I want a "removable helmet" DLC. WIll even pay for that.

And please - no romance pack. Don't want mass effect to turn into a dating game. If people want some acion they can watch pron or read N-17 rated fanfics.

Well the next piece of DA DLC comes out on July 6th, so hopefully we'll hear something by then.

Though I would prefer a larger expansion to DLC, if they keep up the quality that was seen in Overlord then I'm all for more smaller scale DLC.

From the audio files, it looks like Shepard gets the location of the Shadow Broker from TIM. If so, it wouldn't necessarily require an expansion, just about 2 hours worth of content and thats it. We'll most likely hear of the next DLC sometime mid July. Hoping its good though. Overlord was excellent. I was reluctant to purchase it at first, but I'm glad I did.

August seems about right. Wonder what the DAO dlc will be...if the Arch Demon never appeared?

I hope all the shadow broker stuff is actually saved for me 3, I kinda want the dlc to kinda tie into me 3 story without giving away stuff.

The DA DLC is about Leliana. It takes place before DA starts.

As for the Shadow Broker stuff, personally I'd like to see that be the center of a larger piece of DLC (or even an expansion) that leads into ME3.

Either it's an expansion or DLC, but most likely DLC. As for it going into ME3, I highly doubt that they would leave ME3 audio files in ME2's directory. Especially one that says the Shadow Broker is dead.

hmm id be expecting a liara dlc or another appearance pack. as for the romance dlc.. one of the creators commenting it was an interesting idea when an interviewer suggested it doesnt mean they will actually make it

What I meant by "leading into" was have it be the last piece of DLC we get, make it the biggest piece of DLC for ME2 and have the ending of it happen shortly before ME3 picks up. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Ok, I get what your saying now. But the DLC isn't whats going to bridge the ME2 and ME3 story. Casey Hudson said that they would use expansions to do that, and that they would be released closer to the release of ME3. So that would answer what you're looking for then :)

As for the romance pack, I'd download it, but I'm not exactly expecting it. And when asked about it, one of the team members said that they had that idea already. So it wasn't just commenting on it, someone on the dev team already suggested it. It may or may not be in the works. Judging by how it was received on the forums however, Bioware may implement it. But again, they may not.
