My bet is on some story-based DLC, which may or may not be centered on Liara or another squad mate. The fans have already expressed their hope for some squaddies VA in future DLCs; and one way of managing this without bringing all of the cast in for a DLC piece is to center the piece one one particular squadmate or a particular pair at a time (say Tali+Garrus, Samara+Thane, Jack+Grunt, etc...). We'll see...

The reason I said August is because from what i've seen with the ME2 and DA:O DLC, its every other month. My comments about it being Liara DLC is pure speculation. It could be another DLC pack like Overlord, or maybe another Alt. Appearance pack. Could also be the unnamed arc projector armor from the screenshots. If they release something in July, like an alt. appearance, that'd be cool too. But I doubt it. The next piece of DLC is most likely going to come out in August. Again, that is my opinion based on the DLC schedule so far.

There is one problem with so called 'exclusive" stuff.

If devs (or in this case EA) will see that they can milk extra moneys for putting such "exclusives" to sale as DLCs they will do this without blink of an eye.

I have learn one thing when comes to Bioware/EA... whatever thier lead  folks tells as promise usually should be read in connection of the well known airquotes...

Exclusive items have rarely been permanently exclusive, regardless of the medium. Why would anyone be surprised?

Let me give you an example. Bungie set up Sgt. Johnson as a pre-order exclusive for ODST. That was one of the only reasons I, or anyone else, even bought that game. Even months of people complaining about it remaining exclusive, do you see them releasing it as DLC? No. And that's just one example.

A Bioware representative already said that the Collector gear will not be put up as DLC. I'm willing to bet that the Terminus gear is in the same boat. Why? Because selling items that were exclusive for pre-ordering the CE or from a specific  retailer would be cheating out the people who pre-ordered it. You may say that "Oh the Interno was "exclusive"." But it wasn't. Inferno was not exclusive at all. People had a chance to get that armor from ANY retailer but Gamestop. So stop whining about the armor, it's not coming out. Bioware has released so much armor DLC anyways. And by the looks of it, it's over with anyways.

This recent article from Joystiq says that Overlord was the "final piece of Mass Effect 2 DLC"

If that's true, then even the alt. appearance packs won't be coming out, or at least not any time soon. Let alone the exclusive armor you are expecting them to release. So just get over the fact that you lost out on something because you didn't choose to pre-order the game like the rest of us. Get over it. Telling each other that it will come out because the Inferno came out isn't going to help anything.

Bioware already confirmed that this "final piece of DLC..." was simple typo.

And -Polite... whit all due respect what you think from what source Gamestop did recived Terminus gear codes?

They might be Gamestop exclusives but Gamestop cant in matter of fact stop EA/Bioware from releasing that gears as DLCs when they will think that such action will bring more moneys for them since EA/Bioware hold all developers rights for that gears.

And one more think.

Unless you are EA/Bioware CEO, you can't never ever say whit 100% assurance that something what is right now "exclusive" wont be available for everyone as DLC within next couple months.

Bioware is probably gonna give us some small DLC Equilizer style (I hope for something more but I'm not gonna get my hopes up) and in August something bigger Overlord style, but hopefully bigger than that.

are the DLC worth getting?

I havn't bothered with any of them except the basic ones e.g.zaeed-cerberaus armour.

I am interested in maybe the overlord and kasumi missions but are they worth it?

Your last comment is flawed pal. If you were to read my statement, you would have seen that a Bioware developer said that the Collector gear isn't coming out as DLC. I merely speculated that because that wasn't the only exclusive armor, Terminus would be given the same treatment. I don't have to be working at Bioware studios to know for 100% sure that it isn't coming out. Gamestop isn't the one who's stopping Bioware from releasing it. Bioware is not releasing it because they know it wouldn't be fair to those who paid months in advance before the game came out. Thats a benefit of reserving your copy before the release. Unfortunately for you, you didn't. That's your problem, not Biowares. Don't expect them to compensate you for not participating in a pre-order. That's wishful thinking. I'm going to search for the thread where the Dev talked about the Collector armor and post it here, because obviously you are too stubborn to take my word for it.

They are both worth it. Especially Overlord. Get them both, you won't regret it. ;)

Sorry to be the one to tell you this but if and item is sold to someone as "exclusive" to a box set (meaning the collector's edition) then EA/Bioware is legaly bound to keep it exclusive.  That would break the contract that was formed when the buyer purchased the item from EA/Bioware (since it was a "purchase" and not a "bonus" item).

As for the other items... those things were free given by the stores that were selling pre-orders.

I'm glad someone on here understands this. Like I said, the Inferno armor wasn't exclusive like you all say. It was a generic bonus given out to anyone who pre-ordered. The only exclusive items were the Collector and Terminus gears.

I don't know why people want the Collector armor anywase... it's ugly. It looks like Shepard skinned a collector and made armor out of it.

I don't really use any of the DLC armors. Unless theres a specific mission that i'd need a helmet. The assault rifle isn't that bad though.

So
I take it no ones interested in the Liara DLC? Even after the files? I
hope it's either that, or another appearance pack. But instead of only 3
squaddies, the entire rest of the team gets new outfits.

I was under the impression that the Liara DLC got
cancelled. I mean it says cut in the files. And if it is going to be
released I bet Liara will just be a quest giver.

No...it's not cancelled.  There'd be a huge riot and complaining if it did; but....I think it should be the LAST DLC we get.  I want to see other DLC's that could be made.  Armor and Weapons?  No.....that's done please, thank you.  We've got enough of those....I'd like to see more quests and things involving the LI.

Would Shadow Broker be a good DLC?  Good....maybe; it'd be decent at least.  I like the idea of tracking down the Shadow Broker and taking him/her/it out.

And please - no romance pack. Don't want mass effect to turn into a dating game. If people want some acion they can watch pron or read N-17 rated fanfics.

And I'm sorry, but there are some people that do support this, but not for the reason you're stating.  Are there some people out there that want it for the above reason?  Probably....but there are many that don't.

I wouldn't say they were all awful.

Pinicle Station was meh; not the greatest, but something different IMO.  Kasumi and Overlord were good!  I was just slightly disappointed that it's only you and Kasumi in the mission.  Overlord was also neat!  I really enjoyed my time playing through it.  Bring Down the Sky was also good; I liked how that the decision at the end of Bring Down the Sky carried over to ME 2.

I've played awful DLC's before.  None of them for either Mass Effect game were awful.

I think most are interested in the fabled Liara DLC, but that's likely a big DLC which will be marketed well in-advance of its release. I have a really hard time believing that it'll show up as a surprise a month from now. A Liara-centric DLC pack would likely be announced months before it's release like Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening.

Is the Incisor sniper rifle any good? I haven't heard great things about it from people that have it.

August seems about right. Wonder what the DAO dlc will be...if the Arch Demon never appeared?
I hope all the shadow broker stuff is actually saved for me 3, I kinda want the dlc to kinda tie into me 3 story without giving away stuff.

The DA DLC is about Leliana. It takes place before DA starts.

I doubt any future DLC will be pre-ME2. Nobody wants to play a comic series that already has been published.
