Victor's weekly patch updates are CONFIRMED patch contents.  They are in the process of addressing a large number of bugs which include Awakening bugs (thank goodness!!!).  As each bug fix passes QA, it is added to the CONFIRMED patch list.  That's why Friday is indeed a GOOD FRIDAY!!!   

Well, you can choose to view Victor's list of things they're working on/expect to include in the patch as "CONFIRMED",
but I prefer to adopt a "Wait and See" attitude.  I'm sure that the bugs he has listed are on the "We think we've fixed them" list.  But I also presume that BW is using a little more rigorous QC process this time than they did for 1.03.  In which case there may be things that don't make the final cut.... 

And having been a coder in the past, I know how easy it is to think you've fixed something only to discover that those nasty heterogenous environments and pesky (L)users manage to break it anyway!

I'd love to see the Bio Social integration get some love. My (PS3) characters portraits haven't updated once, and the past ~5 characters don't even have the original avatars etc. upped.



Apart from that, it's great to (finally) see so many things get fixed - just the excuse I needed to give the game another go, now that I have proper surround sound!



I wonder if this is a sign that there's a beefed up team working on the engine, to polish it up for the sequel, maybe?

I'm still really hoping that they'll fix those instances of missing items, glitchy quests and Jowan's Intention... but not really holding my breath.

Quite true.... I just hope those fixes are real on Xbox... so far only 2 "confirmed" ... and please BW do not make the same horrendous mistake as in 1.03 patch, saying the same bugs were fixed in 360 when the sad truth is that IT WASN'T... that is misleading and dishonest PR practices...

that means in UK and Europe, the update is always in Saturday!!, lol... the last update was at 2 or 3 am UK time

They should be, especially for the PS3, since the process to fix them without a patch is just completely and totally NOT worth it! lol

Well it's been a week.....time to update the list of things to be patched.....and it's well past the time to announce that the Sentinel armor in awakening will be patched.

The time for waiting is well since gone.....it's been over 8 months since DAO was released and over 3 months since awakening. Now is the time for doing what should have been done a long time ago.
