- wich hopefully goes for the giant community content fire beetle as well
(hesitant to still call that a mere bug): a time will come when the xbox
community can apply dao community content to the game and then
the commotion about items not showing up will double.

I have discovered another bug in Dragon Age: Origins.
When the character is a noble rogue, and you finish the main quest on Orzammar in your completed quests you will see this quest "Of Noble Birth" . This quest is for the dwarfs not for the human noble !!!!!
This picture:
Hope BioWare fix this in their new update.! For now, i am glad that BioWare fix that Power of Blood talent.
I hope they fix that too, though I doubt it since this bug only affects a quest log. I restarted two playthroughs as a dwarf noble over 60+ hours into the game after reloading didn't help. The first time, I thought I may have done something wrong and wanted my dwarf noble to get the correct quest log saying that his son will be a noble, but after restarting and finishing the Orzammar questline, I got the same "failure" quest log. Then, I started a new game, but I completely avoided Mardy, and still got the same quest log. Sad to say, I got the "failure" quest log again as a human noble and as a mage.

I don't really think this is a bug, but it would be nice to fix the importing a character to Awakenings. I'm referring to if your warden doesn't survivie then you should not be able to bring them into Awakenings. So at least that choice from Origins stays. That may make some people mad for not being able to play their warden, but if they're dead then they're dead.
this is rather pointless you have the option not to import. therefore carrying ur choice form origins

save - so I really don't get the point.
Besides
- 'the attitude 'if I don't like a choice, nobody else shall have it as well' isn't exactly fairplay
and has already ruined a lot of good games.

Nice to see words, would love to see patch. Right now my money is on the patch being released in November.
Yeah agreed - maybe October release if we're lucky - which if you're a BW fan, you usually aren't.

Oh god, if the memory-leaks/massive graphics slowdowns go awaaaay I will be so thrilled.
Hopefully this patch will also fix the BSOD/no signal issues that six ATI cards are having with the game. I understand BioWare can't properly fix the issue due to the fact that they don't have the proper funds allocated to procure certain cards; but it's not fair that your customer service reps blame ATI for the problem either, when SIX of their cards have this problem, then it's simply NOT an ATI problem, not to mention the fact that two of NVIDIA's cards have the same issue. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the fixing of this bug yet, has everyone simply given up on it? I know that there is no way I'm upgrading just to play this game when my card plays it just fine, and refusing to fix the issue makes a customer feel like spending this $50 - $60, then having to go spend an additional $200 - $300 just to make it work... That's bad practice, and I don't want to think that's whats going on here.
I'll say this much. We've waited six months for an ATI fix, and I myself will wait three more months, if there is no fix, then this is one game I'm definately sending in for a refund, and I certainly will not take No for an answer, as I am sure we're all entitled to such a refund at this point.

I think the main complaint isn't that they are suddenly alive, it's that those that import that save want to be able to use the Orlesian Warden and have the other things from that save apply.

What 2 nvidia cards have this problem? I hope you aren't talking about the GF400 series card. I don't have the issue with mine. How about a link? :innocent:dbrown101386 wrote...

@TimelordDC: Can you tell me in the link you posted is the only unofficial patch on the internet? And the patch is good? Or not?
As far as I am aware, that is the only mod that fixes all those issues. There are a few other ones that fix specific issues like Stealing but almost all of those are included in Qwinn's fixes. The patch is very good - Bioware should take some of the fixes straight from that mod and include it in the next patch, IMNSHO.
