What exactly do you mean by "former love interests" Mr. Victor? Explain yourself, please.
Simple, they aren't anymore there (game play) or if you want Morrigan take your lover with her
Anyway, anyway, the charts only say why your lover isn't with you and that he/she will wait for you

Hinting to you will never see them again so they are no longer included.WilliamShatner wrote...

The only one i can see them bringing back is morrigan but only because She seems to be an important character to the story.
Then again when characters say you will never see me again.I think the writers mean it.
After all bringing back dead characters and characters that are gone for good is too easy.Does not always make for a good story imo.

these love notes, are for your character form example lelianna? if this is the case how do we know we have them, do we go to codex and look up the former loves name, or do we get a message from a character of something?
In Awakenings, just as you enter Vigil's Keep, there is a guard there and you ask this female guard if you have any messages. Funny thing, about when you ask her, she looks like she is constipated and is trying to fart them out. She says something to the effect of "give me a moment". You also pick up a couple quest from her when you ask for messages.
Also, I hope they fix the save at the end and stop the game from constantly reloading at the end. What is up with booting PC back to the entrance to lair? This really needs fixed and I haven't seen or heard anything on this.

Lots of work going into this patch and weekly communication are great.
However the Awakening retail patch still screwed up my game!
Please look into this:
Issues that we would like the patch to address (PS3)
* Awakening retail patch creates an issue with other patches:
For me it means a broken game playable only in slow motion (impossible
to attack or do any tactics), 2 minute full pauses and freezing. For
other people "Loading saved data" becomes the only screen they see.
Other people are still experiencing crashes
* PS3 overall framerate is painful: This thread has been asking for a fix since launch.
* Locked Saved Games: Please unlock the saves,
with data corrupting bugs and the like we obviously need backups.
Sacred 2, WKC and RE5 all unlocked via patch so this is possible.
As of now, me and many other ps3 players are stuck with a game we would like to but cannot play, which means I also can't buy any dlc. All because I supported Bioware and bought Awakening even though it didn't strike me as a good deal or a great idea.
Please work on it!

Hello again all,
It's time for more notes on items fixed in the upcoming patch for Dragon Age: Origins. This week, we have a few items related to gameplay and performance, as well as new Awakening fixes. As noted before, there were a number of crashes related to audio drivers and those have been resolved. In addition to that fix, memory leaks that were harming performance and causing crashes (as listed below) have been resolved. In addition to performance improvements, we also have a couple of items fixed in Awakening, which were not working properly.
• Switching between Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awakening were resetting options to default settings.
• Multiple transitions in and out of Fade areas were multiplying the number of visual effects running, slowing down gameplay.
• Resolved a number of memory leaks that were causing crashes and increases load times.
• (Awakening only) Players may now receive notes of appreciation from former love interests.
Previously reported:
• Instant +100 approval bugs for Awakening companions have been resolved.
• Anders, Sigrun and Velanna's personal quests will properly activate.
• Fixed an issue that would prevent an imported character from detecting traps.
• Red script will no longer appear in the place of tattoos.
• Power of Blood talent will be usable in Awakening.
• Game saves on Xbox 360 were being corrupted if you sold too many items to the same merchant. Saves will no longer be corrupted if you do this.
• Daggers will now properly assign the dexterity-based damage bonus
• Updated audio drivers to fix a number of audio related crashes.
Keep watching for additional details. At this time, we do not have a release date for the patch. Once that is set, we will update you on that.
Very nice Victor and Bioware team. This may encourage me to make a couple more characters once the new patch is in, I have to see how that works for myself.
At any rate this should calm some of the "fires" on the forums.

Do we actually know what these letters say? Or maybe I shouldn't ask and be pleasantly surprised?
Actually those letter already exist on the Awakenings folders and there were some topics about them on the forums

Yes things they list are ready and in the patch, they still have to pass the patch through Sony and Microsoft Q&A as at the moment it has only passed through Biowares Q&A. Also they would need to make an official announcement for the patch and do a bunch of **** etc. all of which takes time and money and drags away from time and money that can be better spent on... further fixing the game.Thatdude88 wrote...
seems to me like you said earlier that things you can list Are ready and WILL be in the patch. that means to me that there ready to be put out now so with all those fixes you have listed why haven't you put it out yet. you waiting to fix the whole game ?

After the 1.03 patch, I can't say I agree with you. Especially when a patch to fix the patch was not released until...how long has it been already?scyphozoa wrote...

(partly a result of the constant nagging and teacattle whining about her),
the community wrote some excellent excellent standalone Aribeth
romance mods wich simply ignored HotU and SoU.
I recommend to skip the nagging and teacattle part this time
and write / wait for community companion mods
Back to topic...
Please don't be too suprised when the new patch breaks other stuff again.
Writing patches is a tricky business and I remember lots
of patches for NWN wich stamped out loads of bugs and accidently
let in new ones. Some unintedly undid fixes from a previos patch,
so this isnt a new thing either.

But on a positive note I am damn happy the trap spotting issue is getting attention as most of what I was taking into Awakening was rogue
