Is it possible to define a shortcut to toggle this on and off?

Tools > Options > Level Editor > Snap Surface Enable

Tools > Options > Area Editor > Objects Follow Surface

If you are looking for a way to bind the toggle to a keyboard shortcut, not that I know of.

theres the magnet button in level editor, which is a little quicker than tools menu. i dont know of a keyboard shortcut either.

Yeah, I use the magnet a lot. It's why I want a keyboard toggle. Would save me having to click on the magnet every 30 seconds.
