I would totally enter if I could figure out how the devil to actually get the character portraits into the album. I am not tech savvy, clearly, haha.

Just go to my content->groups->albums and create a new one.

You might have already figured that out However, the hard part is that images apparently need to be of proper size, or they appear black once uploaded.

The easiest solution that worked for me, was to open the pictures with paint, cut out the face part, drag&drop it to a new paint-picture and overwrite the old file

Of course it turned out to be something simple, haha, well good, I'll be sure to get my submission up later today then!

Would it really be a major deal if the group didn't consist of 9 members, but of a smaller, more specialized group? I'm not sure if I'm ok to enter this regardless of member-count, I really don't know very much of the storyline to write any sort of actual background on any character =/

The group can be up to nine members. If you feel your group would be better as a three man squad that is for you to decide. Don't worry overly much about knowing the setting. Just gotta do what you can with what you know. Keep in mind that it's more a creativity contest than a competition to see who knows most about the setting. The restrictions to setting and scenario are more to keep people from going balls to the wall and writing up a big piece of fan fiction than anything.

Alright, that's good to know. I don't know if I'll have the time to make an entry, but if I don't have time, then I'll definitely jump in on the judging panel if I can. (I'm fully aware of the deadline )

i've added one more character to my fellowship but my pictures aren't uploading quickly enough so it looks like im out of the running. i've really enjoyed this though, and will now definately be role playing the characters from the stories i've created. great thread!

I had a lot of trouble getting the photos into my album, so I ended up cutting off a couple members. I think it works better this way anyway ^.^
