To Whom It May Concern:
I am at wit's end. I have a perfectly valid Debit (Visa) card that I have used successfully with other online stores (such as Gamestop). However, when I try to purchase Bioware Points with it, it crashes and burns and EA is giving me the run-around and it is impossible to find a HUMAN at Bioware that will speak with me about this in a timely fashion so before I begin, Bioware, your customer support sucks!
Here is the issue. I have a new Debit (Visa) card. I have already verified that the card is active and checks out with my bank. In fact my bank confirms that at about 2300 GMT, they APPROVED of my purshase of Bioware points from Bioware.
However, on my end, even though I could get the system to recognize my card, it said "Purchase Rejected, use another payment option" (again I've used this card with other online retailers with no problems AND there is plenty of money on it). When I tried again after a few hours going through my profile rather than the Mass Effect 2 links after deleting all the saved information and reentering it, it NOW says the card can not be verified....even though you clowns had verified it just hours before.
I am hot under the collar and I'd like some ideas on how I am actually supposed to buy points for my own games....or for that matter with this custserv why I should even bother....
-Polaris
P.S. My account is ianpolaris@yahoo.com which should be enough for Bioware to verfy the purchase history and problems (hopefully before the sun dies).

I have the exact same problem, I've been PMing a bioware mod back and forth though and he claims that it's being looked into some more.
Until further notice we're all stuck with this garbage that shouldn't take half this long to fix.

Please give this another shot and let me know if you still experience issues.
As a general note, if you are going to post email addresses (or other account info) please send a private message instead - like everywhere else on the net I'm sure we have spammers lurking who have nothing better to do than to fill up inboxes with rubbish.

I am in Japan and having the same problem. Keeps stating my transaction was rejected by the payment processor. I've tried with 2 different cards; a credit card and a debit card.

I have the exact same problem too...
VISA Credit it simply cannot verify.
Paypal the account is okay but again doesn´t verify my VISA - in this case, DEBIT.
Perhaps here it is a misunderstanding on the NAME.
I saw that the paypal demands to write FULL surname (which for many of us is not only one family name), and when signing for to the debit/ credit card details, it retains this full name as a last name on the card.
So I will try this, delete my account & create one other, with the EXACT surname pointed IN THE CARD. Let´s see if this will work, I come back later with hopefully good news.

I'm also having problems purchasing Bioware points. Two valid credit cards and one paypal account haven't worked.
The credit cards are not 'verified' and the paypal account just ends up going to a screen which says "Please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact customer support." - it's been doing that for the last 24 hours.
I contacted customer support, explaining the situation in detail, and I had a nice message back, saying I should make sure I checked the card details properly, include the correct billing address and with no mention at all of the paypal problem.
I've redone the paypal account, deleting the old one and redoing it, but still to no avail.
Any advice from anyone?
I'm a bit frustrated now.
Tara

You know, for a company that wants your money, they sure don't really want to let you purchase anything. 3 visa cards, all good, none could be verified. I don't have paypal and refuse to use paypal, so I guess that they won't be getting my money. It's a shame too, because I really wanted to play Leliana's story. And it doesn't look like they'll be fixing the problem anytime soon.

I used by card for the first two bioware purchases but it refused for the third so I've been forced to use my paypal for the last two purchases. Annoying.

"This invoice has been rejected by the payment provider. Please contact customer support regarding this account."
Getting that when attempting to purchase points on my PayPal account that is registered to a UK Visa debit card that I have used before with the BW points store... However I'm in Finland at the moment, I don't know if that has something to do with it. Will try again later tonight when I'm back in the UK.

I've never had this problem before but today I'm getting it every time - it's my last chance to DL Leliana's Song before a month sans much internet so I'm getting really worried.
