I wanted so much to hear news about ME! It didn't even have to be ME3, it could have been DLC news!

:crying:

I'm not disappointed at all, ESPECIALLY at no news about ME3 in particular. New DLC I could live with, probably, but it is far too soon to announce ME3. ME2 just came out in January, geez. The longer they wait to announce it, the happier I am, so long as it doesn't turn into a 3-year thing like Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

Mass Effect 3 is totally worth the wait, no matter how long, so long as it's a reasonable amount of time.

dont even get me started on HL EP3 that an epic fail on valves part but that does make senseand i can deal with a little wait on any ME news just so long as the DLC keeps on coming.

Yeah, Half-Life 2: Episode 3 has me raging whenever I think about it. Screw you, Valve.

I was not expecting an announcement just news! Like "we are working on this new style of quests" or "ME3 will have more side quests than ME2". Something on these lines.

****ing Gabe. "Big suprise at E3!".  E3 come around, the "big suprise" is Portal 2 for the PS3.

Yeah, I was dissapointed that there was no news about ME3 at E3 although to be perfectly honest I knew that it was very unlikely that there would be anything to show at E3. It's very easy to forget that ME2 only came out a few months ago and while Bioware has confirmed that they are working on ME3 I doubt that they are far enough along to show anything. Still it would have been nice to hear them tease future plans for the franchise, perhaps a PS3 port/remake of the first 2 games or even a full trilogy edition in the works.

I wasn't expecting anything about ME3; it's way too early. I'm expecting ME3 in 2012 to be honest.

On the subject of Valve,I'm looking forward to Portal 2; the trailer at least looks good, but like many of you I'm hurting for Episode 3 now. Heard a rumour that it episode 3 is now basically Half Life 3, but I don't know how legit that is. Who knows with Valve.

You know, it'll prolly be better if they keep ME3 shrouded in mystery so that everyone can experience the game with zero spoilers :D I don't expect they'll change the gameplay significantly enough from ME2 to warrant hype building. ME2 is one of the most critically acclaimed games in recent years, if people haven't tried it out yet, they probably aren't intending to. I bring this up to suggest that ME3 isn't likely to be attracting new users like ME2 did and therefore it should be aimed at current customers. Don't worry about creating a barrier for new users story wise and keep everything under wraps until release day. After release do as you wish, lift all your press embargos and let the advertising rain down :D

I wasn't expecting anything about DA2 or ME3 before Gamespot put up those games on their list. But during the second day of E3 I gave up hope.

It's worth the waiting though, surely.

I was pissed that SW BF3 or AC5 didn't show up, ME3 and DA2 doesn't bother me, it's too soon for them to announce anything relevant besides HAY, WERE WORKING ON THIS, NOW YOU CAN GET YOUR HOPES UP LULZ.

It was cool that we got Overlord during E3, but I would have preferred some announcements. Announcements and reveals are what makes E3 week fun. Overlord's release got overshadowed by the hype of E3. That was kinda sad. I hope the DLC sold well.

Judging by the reviews, the only people dissatisfied only disliked the Hammerhead, and dissapointed with the lack of voice acting for the squad (understandable, they have lives).

Quite frankly, the only people not getting it are people who refuse to buy DLC, or people who can't pay at the moment, or people without access to the interwebz.

The lack of quality, lengthy DLC for Mass Effect 2 is frustrating---here is a game that is easily a Game of the Year contender, fans and gamers are begging for content ranging from armor pieces to large expansions, and the DLC has been slowly trickling out, at outrageous prices, infrequent periods, and ridiculously paper-thin at times.

Meanwhile, Drago Age, a game that simply doesn't match up to the quality, hype, demand, nor the critical acclaim compared to ME2, is getting tons of DLC, and expansions.....W....T.....F.

Just because you did not enjoy DA as much as say myself or others does not mean it fails to meet the acclaim, however that is not what I am replying too.

DA is getting "tons" of DLC and expansions?  I personally have 11 pieces of DLC for ME2, compared to my list of DLC for DA I have... well 11.  Not including the alternate appearance pack for ME2 nor the Feast Day DLC for DA.  The only major difference is that DA got an expansion.

That hardly qualifies as "a ton" more, its actually pretty close as I am sure that if you hold on, you will likely see more DLC for ME2.  When DA has 10+ more DLC then ME2, THEN you can say its got a ton more, but only 1 more DLC (not even released yet) and 1 expansion, I think not.

I really really thought we would see at least some DLC and an outside chance of a really short teaser for ME3. So yeah disappointed, Bioware was silent as a mouse on this one.

E3 made me sad, because it was utter crap, honestly even ME3 dlc would still leave me feeling bad. Besides dlc dosent substitue a new game, so I would rather they focus on that.

They love teasing us like monkeys, we can hear, and see the banana but we can't have it. Darnit Bioware shed the veil of EA and show us something worthwhile for the ME universe:(

I was upset as well. When gamespot put ME3 in there list of featured games. I flipped. I was so pissed when they took it down. I mean, how the hell do you screw that up so badly? Even so, gamespot had it in a "highlight" list as well. Saying that something could be talked about when it comes to along the lines of ME3.

But oh wells... When they release some information, they will. But untill then, I will be on the edge of my seat...

DO NOT MENTION HL EP3, reminding This kind of thing makes want to release antrax in valve's vents.

E3 was pretty damn disappointing overall this year, IMO. Nothing that big or interesting revealed... funnily enough BioWare's SWTOR was probably the best stuff there. Most announcements were pretty ho-hum and predictable.

Oh, and Dragon Age Origins is a far, farFAR superior game to ME2 in almost every respect.
