An Orzammar duster finds respect, love and dignity. And the most impossible frustrating collection of GAH YOU PEOPLE and THE H3LL? events this side of Tapster's.
23K words, lots of pictures. It is a playthrough but only very minimal dialogue has been lifted directly from the game.

I laughed, I snorted, I cried. Funny how little things like that can be so incredibly deep and moving and simultaneously hilarious. Skills, you have them.

I skipped dinner to finish reading this. Now I'm hungry and sad and giggly all at the same time. Somehow you managed to combine a humorous playthrough with a natural character arc and it's amazing.
I want to put your Warden in my pocket and take her with me everywhere.

@Edrissa: My thanks, you has them!
@cancerbaby: Had to be US or Loghain Redemption. If Lorelai had never warmed up to Alistair, I coulda dumped him at the Landsmeet. But she did and, although she never was as emotionally invested in revenge against Loghain as my other two PCs, she wasn't going to not back her Second. I thought about Warden-Commander briefly, just because Alistair is so bloody sincere when he offers to die, but it grated too hard against the whole "finding and living your role" theme that was going on. Loghain would be reclaiming his former role as "hero," so that would have fit, had I recruited him.

Hey, I'm not harshing on your narrative decisions. I thought it was brilliant. However, emotional whiplash late at night does kind of screw up my week. In a good way.

Laughed a lot. Sooo much hilarious dialog and paraphrasing... And really good roleplay scenerios which I find harder and harder to stick with as I learn more and more metagame exploits... So many moments, a very compelling Duster story... Thanks for this, though it must've been fun writing it...

Only thing that didn't sit right with me was refusing Morrigan's offer- couldn't understand why... unless she thought Morry was going to make matters worse or something? Or couldn't trust the one she'd called salroka. Like the ritual would actually turn Alistair into a toad or something. Dunno.
Morrigan tries a hard sell, putting pressure on a Warden to make their choice at the last minute, with little time to think it over or look for alternatives. Like Lorelai says, she's used the technique herself, to try and scam people into making bad decisions. She believes that if the deal Morrigan is offering were truly to her benefit, she would have made the offer ages ago. She does trust her, but not implicitly, and certainly wouldn't expect her to put anyone else's interests above her own. Morrigan's very Dust Town like that.
