Now as you will all remember there was a flyer released with Awakening that hinted at a new Dragon Age product comming February 2010 (that many of us thought would be Dragon Age 2)

Naturally this news made me go

"Of course if they plan to release this new Dragon Age product February next year they would have to give us some juicy details about it at this years E3" I thought to myself, of course I was exited we were going to see Dragon Age 2 at E3, or so I thought.

Patiently I watched through EA's press conference, waiting for Bioware to show up and give us the juicy details and finally near the end of the show Greg Zeschuk walks on stage with <insert name here> and starts talking about TOR. "Ok they are just getting the TOR news out of the way and then it is time for Dragon Age 2" I think to myself. Then all of a sudden the show draws to a close with no Dragon Age news at all and I am all like

So I guess what I am asking is what the hell was the flyer for? Do you still plan to release this product February? Did somebody jump the gun and get a bit too ambitious with the release date when you really need time to work on the product? or did you just release the flyer to build us up only to knock us down and drink our tears?

Is there a requirement that something get announced at E3 that we're not aware of?

I think many people are just wondering what the heck that mysterious blood dragon card with 2/1/2011 from Awakening is all about. You put the pieces together from EA's announcement of a "Dragon Age Title TBA" coming in fiscal Q4 2011 combined with other interviews and tidbits of info and it seemed like maybe we'd hear something at E3.

And you're not. :)

We know you guys are excited to hear more. Stay tuned.
