Hi. Sorry if there are similar topics or if this is in the wrong section.

I completed Dragon Age: Origins today after playing like crazy for a few weeks, and I thought it was magnificent. The story, the gameplay, Morrigan's harsh remarks and Zevran constantly hitting on Wynne. Hilarious! ^_^

I thought the ending was great too, but I was kind of disappointed when the ending credits showed up. I was hoping that I could keep travelling around Ferelden to explore some more and do more quests. Is this not possible? Could someone explain how this works?

Oh, and I have earned a few  "achievements" on my in-game profile. Some are worth 10 points, some 20 and some 30. Are these points ever used for anything? Do I buy stuff with them, or do they just show up on my profile?

Answers will be appreciated.

the points are only there to make it feel like you accomplish something. and give you a reason to play the game over and over again.

There is an endgame save you can load and play DLCs after completing the game.

You can play DLC after completing the game, but nothing else.

You can also import your character into Awakening.

All right, thanks. These DLCs you talk about, is "Awakening" one of them? So I can import my old character into that and continue the adventures? Great! Will companions from Origins be there to follow me around?

Awakening is an expansion, not DLC. You can import your Origins character into it, but you can't visit any Origins locations. DAA takes place in Amaranthine.

One of your Origins party members will return, a few other make cameos.

Yes, you can import your older character in Awakening and continue adventures. But there will be only 1 companion from Origins, others will be new.

All right, thanks for the answers. One more question: Do the DLCs play out in Ferelden or Amaranthine?

So I can't play the DLCs while in Amaranthine? Is there any way to travel between the two places?

nope, you can't travel between the two or play DLCs in Amaranthine. Awakening kinda like a separate journey the warden makes =)

Ok... so I should install the DLCs first and play them in Ferelden, and then start the Awakening questline? o.O

Yes.

Note that most of the DLC items will not carry over to Awakening.

All right. Thanks for answering all my questions. This seems like a really friendly forum. :)

BTW: I've now started the Awakening expansion. Can I complete it, and then get the DLCs and return to Ferelden?
