I wish there was a sniper point in the suicide mission, where you choose a squad mate to provide sniper cover or something along those lines. That's one thing that would have suited Thane perfectly well, despite him being a close-range assassin.

I like this idea.

Okay, what's the description for Mordin's sniper skills? Creative use of dead Collector extremities and a slingshot? :P

ETA: Almost tempted to start a thread about all the various ways Mordin can kill someone.

ETAA: No, seriously, someone redirect my attention to some marvelous new thread or discussion before I post a thread about all the different ways Mordin can kill someone. I've already made a list past twenty.

Is it a list of types of farming equipment?

I wish that Second Squad leader worked a little different during the biotic shield segment. Perhaps choosing a bad leader should have killed a random person under the command, but the way it is now makes no sense. Yeah, Zaeed is a bad leader, but he's still also the baddest badass this side of Shepard and it makes little sense that him being a bad leader should mean HE'S the one who gets killed.

I don't think it's the tech who should die if they're not the right one for the job, as the critical element is supposed to be them getting the doors open in time for the other two teams to make it through. And it's actually Shepard's team that's second through the doors, so it should have been someone on Shepard's team that should have died if the tech specialist was too slow.

And it also makes no sense that the tech dies again if it's the fire team leader who isn't right for the job. Again, the tech's job is solely to get the doors open and closed. If the fire team leader isn't the right one, it should have been someone on their squad who should have died.

As for the second fire team leader, I'm somewhat fine with a leader dying at that point. If they aren't the right one for the job, someone needs to die. The leader is as good as any other, and really, it's their failing so why not them? And if the excuse for it is that someone like Zaeed is a bad ass who makes sure he walks out of the impossible missions alive when no one else does, then he really shouldn't have been on Shepard's team to start with. But that's another kind of thread.

A sowing apparatus is on the list. As is a hoe. I also have a combination of leaking gas can and incinerate. Water and electrical equipment. Dropping pails of acid above doorways. Various poisonous injections hidden as amps, pens, blowdarts and medikits. Native batarian-world burrowing worms disguised as ramen. Liquid nitrogen. Whips. High decibel torture. Death glare. Knocking someone into a high power fan. Installing various neural implants throughout someone's body, prying their eyes open, and interfacing them with dozens of geth. Flaying an enemy alive and then crucifying them outside your clinic as a warning to others.

Ah that wacky scientist salarian.

I don't doubt that Jacob could have been a good leader, but there is no lead-up to this moment. No indication that he has led his own teams before. When he complains about red-tape getting in the way, he never mentions how the bureaucrats were interfering in his command decisions.

Sad part is, even the crappy I-PHONE GAME doesn't even cover it.

Am I the only one that got the feeling Jacob would be a good fire team leader? I chose him on my first playthrough, before reading spoilers or anything. Just from the way he handled his loyalty mission, and the way he spoke to most of the squad once they were recruited(except for Thane) lead me to believe he could handle people and get them to do what needs to be done.
