19, I don't think there is a typical age of people who play dragon age.
What's the typical age of someone who plays Dragon Age?

15 here. The first game I played was Doom when I was 5(close to my birthday at that point). I've played every single Bioware game to date.(Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, etc. Except Sonic Chronicles..-shudder-) Why? Cause I luv my Bioware.

41. Started with Pong. Then a TI home computer (it didn't load floppies, but rather cassettes). Then Atari 2600, Nintendo, PS1 and 2. Then finally Xbox and now 360. It brings to "life" the imaginative days of middle school playing D&D.

40...compare DAO to 'Adventure' for the Atari 2600. It was basically moving a white or black square dot around blocky looking mazes.

Am now feeling old and creaky thanks to you whipper snappers.
First game played....Space Marines (I think, hard to remember that far back).

I just turned 46, been playing crpgs for about 12½ years now. I first got introduced to the crg games when a former co-worker showed me how to play Baldur's Gate - this was way back in 1998...

I completely forgot about PONG. Our family did get one of these early consoles way back in 1974 or 1976, I think. And we did play it many a christmas vacation and then some...

I'm 33. My first computer was a Microbee which ran on cassette tapes. Took forever to load a game like Galaxian and then it would overheat after 15 minutes and you'd have to shut it down before it self-combusted. 7-year-old me thought it was the most awesome thing ever!
Glad I'm not the oldest on here.
I wonder if RPGs attract more older players than the other genres do?

Im 36- I also get a whole day for gaming and my family is great about it! Of course, maybe it's not the best example for an 8 year old boy- He just got a nintendo DSI and I told him I was going to have to limit his time on it because I thought he was playing it too often- He said "I don't play it anymore than you play your games mom," Yikes- he's got me there-lol

I'm 22, currently taking a break from school due to a nervous breakdown. Them docs told me to do things I liked, and I never let go of Dragon Age again.
I have been playing games since Mario was on a floppy disk (and I owned a Sega Mega Drive) though.
